Huw Millington takes on the challenge on Brickset with this first review of set 9476 The Orc Forge . In summary, a nice forge with a lot of interesting pieces (screen-printed boards, 18 Olive Green cheese slopes ...), a light brick, 4 minifigs (instead of the 5 originally planned): Lurtz, two Mordor Orcs and an Uruk-Hai.
The ears of the hairy orcs are slightly different from the ears of the Elf from the collectible minifig series, Lurtz and the Uruk-hai have a double-faced head, both orcs have an imprint on the back and the Saroumane's white hand is screen-printed on the helmets and shields.
A little limited playability with this set which will serve as a complement rather than an ultimate playset, but the minifigs are exceptional and lovers of a little special pieces for their MOCs will find their account there.
