LEGO today unveiled the promotional product that will accompany the launch of the first three sets in the new LEGO Pokémon range starting February 27, 2026, and it is the set 40892 Kanto Region Badge Collection.
This small box of 312 pieces containing the eight badges will only be offered with the purchase of the LEGO Pokémon set. 72153 Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise (6838 pieces - €649,99) on the official online store from February 27 to March 8, 2026, but we all know that it will actually only be offered on February 27 and at best for a few hours before being permanently out of stock and finding a second life on the secondary market.
LEGO promises, however, that the first 8500 pre-orders from January 12, 2026 will benefit from this offer.
The attractive box set includes the badges available in Kanto: Rock, Waterfall, Lightning, Prism, Soul, Swamp, Volcano, and Earth. It's still unknown whether LEGO plans to expand on this theme with similar sets for the Johto, Hoenn, Unova, Kalos, Galar, Paldea, or Sinnoh regions. The potential is there, and so are the collectors.
