76341 Lego Marvel Ravager Jumpsuit Groot Review 1

Today we take a quick tour of the content of the LEGO Marvel set 76341 Ravager Jumpsuit Groot, a box of 604 pieces currently available for pre-order on the official online store at a public price of €59,99 and which will be available from January 1, 2026.

LEGO continues to milk the Groot character for all it's worth with a new version of the figure that will join those in the sets 76217 I am Groot (2022) et 76249 Venomized Groot (2023) and this time the young tree is dressed as a pest. It seems this figure format, just over 25 cm tall, has found its audience; fans of the character can even add more variants to their shelves by including the young root version from the set. 76297 Dancing Groot (2024)

Unsurprisingly, and with a few minor differences, this new articulated figure follows the tried-and-tested formula of the two previous versions, with a head that's still just as amusing but whose expression is fixed, and limbs connected to the torso by ball joints that are still just as conspicuous, even with the integration of the Ball Seals en Dark Red The shoulder detailing is quite successful, and ultimately allows for the character to be displayed in various poses. The aesthetic innovation of this new model: the adjustable eyebrows, which give the figure a touch of personality.

Groot is accompanied here by a very convincingly finished detonator with its large buttons and other well-executed levers, all on a scale that reminds us that Groot isn't a baobab tree. I really like this difference in scale, which reminds me a little, in its own way, of what LEGO offered in 2015 with the set 76039 Ant-Man Final Battle.

There's pad printing in this box, but it's still not enough, and there are still stickers to apply to the figure to refine the level of detail on its Ravager outfit. Fortunately, the Tile The black zipper on the jumpsuit is pad-printed, and I also notice an effort here regarding the density of the white ink used. It's not perfect yet, but it's progress in the right direction.

As for the rest, it's up to each person to decide whether the whole thing is rather cute or frankly creepy; we know that this representation of Groot is divisive on an aesthetic level.

With just over 600 pieces, some of which are lost in the detonator, there are inevitably some compromises in the figure's finish. You'll have to be content with the clearly visible articulation points on the gray hips and dark brown ankles. Groot's feet are intentionally wide to ensure the figure's stability, but you'll need to carefully find the balance point in certain poses.

LEGO doesn't bother to provide a small character identification plate to enhance the product's collectability, unlike in the previous set. 76217 I am Groot but the set 76249 Venomized Groot then omitted this somewhat pretentious accessory for sets of this level.

If you're a LEGO fan of this character to the point of collecting all the variations, this one inspired by Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 should easily find a place on your shelves. If you remain unmoved by this LEGO brick interpretation of the character, you'll save €60. But if you had to keep only one version, I think this one is the most iconic and the most successful of the three.
