We talk about this set again and again 10227 B-Wing Starfighter (UCS) that nobody has seen and that does not know much except that it should consist of around 1500 pieces with a price of around 180 €.
It looks like the official announcement is fast approaching, with an event announced during the protest Brick Fiesta which will take place in Houston, Texas (USA) from July 4-8, 2012.
The site of the event indicates in full in the section Special Events:
Special News from LEGO
LEGO will be revealed an exclusive set during the general assembly Friday afternoon (July 6th). This is a must-see! Only folks with convention and family memberships will be allowed to attend.
Which in short means that LEGO will reveal an exclusive set on Friday July 6th. And it's a safe bet that this is the set 10227 B-Wing Starfighter (UCS) whose marketing should then take place at the start of the 2012 school year ...
ReBrick, the official LEGO (non-hosted) content sharing site is organizing a competition open to everyone on condition of being over 16 and registered on this community platform.
To be won: The ultra-exclusive LEGO set® Inside Tour Set 2012 (4000012), available only to visitors to the manufacturer's premises. The object of the competition is simple: Build a MOC on a surface of 32x32 studs maximum, featuring an octopus (octopus) or a squid (squid). The winner will be the one whose MOC has obtained the most Likes.
To participate, it's very simple, build your scene, upload the image to your flickr account for example (ReBrick does not host anything), then post your creation in the dedicated category on Rebrick entitled Building Challenge. Spam your friends, and come and give us the link here that we can help you climb the rankings.
The contest starts today June 18 and will end on July 9, 2012. The voting sequence also begins on this day and you can add your Like until July 16, 2012. The first three will win something. As usual, no LDD MOCs, no custom parts, no LEGO logo, no Photoshop.
All the information on this competition can be found on the ReBrick blog at this address: ReBrick Building Competition.

Talented artist, Mike Napolitan constantly amazes me with his quality work. He's releasing two new comic book covers converted to minifigure sauce, and once again it's very successful.
I have put you next to each of his creations the comic cover he was inspired by. The result is really convincing.
If you follow Brick Heroes, you have already seen some of his works in these columns. If you don't know his work, you can find the different tickets that I had posted about it and then go to his blog The Legion of Minifigs.
