We will quickly forget the pathetic gift offered, an uninteresting key ring with the "Space" logo which even with a limited edition will have difficulty in attracting anyone except perhaps a few sellers on Bricklink or eBay ....
The book itself is nice. It is neither a "bible", nor an encyclopedia as I could see some getting carried away on this subject on various forums.
This is simply a compendium of all LEGO production since 1949 illustrated with nice photos, and some key information about each set (Year of production, number of pieces and rating depending on supposed rarity ( Not always very realistic)). We are far from the Universalis or the New Testament anyway ....
Despite everything, I enjoy leafing through this very, very fine paper book from time to time, and discovering sets or ranges that I didn't know. And it was while leafing through this book that I came across two new releases from the Star Wars range (I'm not the only one apparently). These are two 3 in 1 Super Packs of which I offer you photos taken by yours truly below:
Super Pack 3in1 66395, composed of sets 7957 Sith Nightspeeder, 7913 Clone Trooper Battle Pack et 7914 Mandalorian Battle Packsystem. (I already told you about this set in this article)

drdavewatford does not hide his satisfaction to have in his hands a "Pre-release" version of this eagerly awaited set. Note in passing, that the sticker has already been corrected on the version it has.
The inside of the packaging contains 4 white boxes, 3 of which are devoted to the parts of the set and one dedicated to the 226-page instruction booklet.
The bags are numbered, which in my opinion is not necessarily a bad thing for those in a hurry. The purists will get rid of the bags to indulge in a regular sorting of parts a few hours before assembly.
The instruction booklet is decked out with the eternal flaw, namely the difficulty of differentiating black from dark gray. The sticker sheet contains the information sheet of this Executor, but also stickers for the control panels of the Executor (Bridge).
We would have appreciated screen-printed pieces, especially on a set of this size.

In addition, the author remains modest, and recognizes that this guide should contain a large part of the minifigs released to date but does not guarantee that the entire LEGO production is referenced. He also calls on the goodwill of AFOLs to help him complete his work and correct any errors.
It remains to be seen whether this book is produced with permission from TLC or not and whether the manufacturer will let an AFOL put a few bills in the pocket on their backs without paying royalties.
You can follow the progress of the project on the author's blog https://www.minifigure.org and ask him your questions. He is rather responsive and seems to want to maintain a dialogue with the community in order to better meet the expectations of potential buyers.

Fruit of the collaboration between TLC and LucasFilm, this short film of 30 minutes soberly titled LEGO® Star Wars: The Padawan Menace was written by a certain Michael Price, already author for the series The Simpsons and will be produced by Animal logic, already a producer of Happy Feet.
In the meantime here are some images (Click on the visuals for large format versions) which seem to show that the realization is of high level, that the fans should not be disappointed and that the sales of the licensed LEGO products should still explode ... .
But, as a representative of TLC indicated, it is too late to correct the elements like the box and the instruction booklets which will therefore be published with the visuals on which appears the original sticker containing the fault "turoblaser".
If we refer to the statement below:
"Unfortunately, as has been called out, the pre-production label included a typo and therefore made it into the production photos for this product, but rest assured that the actual label contained within the box will be accurate. Corrections will also be made to the box and instruction art, but will happen in, “running production” which means initial product (most of the 2011 run) will still be packaged in boxes and with instructions that contain the 'typo' photo However, these sets WILL contain the. accurate plaque label."
It seems that the first copies will therefore be delivered with the corrected sticker, but with the visuals containing the spelling error on the box and the instructions. Collectors, rejoice, there will be two "versions" of this set and you will have to choose your side: Buy the set as soon as it is released with the corrected sticker and the mistakes on the packaging, or wait for the 2012 batch and buy a version 100% corrected. Or buy both...
