A Eurobricks forumer has just confirmed the rumor: There will be a set 7879 Hoth Echo Base. Here is a summary of the information we have at this precise moment on this highly anticipated set:

Luke will be present in a Bacta Tank (Click on this link if you don't know what it is). A dark Red R-3PO minfig will also be included (In the spirit of this visual, see this link).

 andrewqwy therefore confirms that it will be an imposing set in the spirit of the set 8038 The Battle of Endor, including a large number of rebel minifigs with among them a priori the Major Bren Derlin.

He also confirms that the set will combine perfectly with the set. 7666 Hoth Rebel Base released in 2007 to form a cohesive whole.

This is what we know for the moment. No visual is yet available and no detailed information on availability and price has yet filtered.

The new Store Calendar "Summer Edition" has been released, and as usual, many promotions are available for American AFOLs.

This time around, the focus is on the Cars 2, Ninjago series sets and new releases to be released in June in the Atlantis, City, Kingdoms and Alien Conquest series.

The launch of the new "LEGO Master Builder Academy" will also take place during the first week of June.

Not a line on the Star Wars novelties however initially announced for June 2011, which will perhaps (or not) be the subject of a separate launch ....

In short, nothing very exciting, especially since we Europeans are not affected by any of these promotional offers.

Amazon has just updated the visual and release date of the Star Wars Saga 9 Blu-ray Collector's Box.

The availability is now fixed for September 14, 2011, and the dressing of the box, if it does not change by then, is rather nice.

The price has been revised downwards slightly for an amount of 95.95 €.

You have probably all seen this video released last year and summarizing in just over 2 minutes Episodes IV, V and VI of the Star Wars saga in brickfilm form. Today you can finally watch the 2.21 minute remake of Episodes I, II and III of the saga.

Brilliantly produced and edited, these brickfilms combine know-how, humor, and of course tons of LEGOs, minifigs, machines and MOCs or not.
