loose promoBad news for latecomers who thought they could wait until tonight to take advantage of the offer, the ARF Shadow Trooper minifigure has just officially gone out of stock (!) More "at extremely high demand"according to LEGO.
Knowing that this minifigure is identified with the promo code "FRSA" (For FRance Shadow ARF), if you now enter this code in the "Promotional Code / Catalog", you will be offered a beautiful Boba Fett keychain instead of the Shadow ARF Trooper ....
This out of stock of the central element of this promotion therefore definitively completes the sabotage of this disappointing operation.

5685822660 17f344aa4f oThe promotional offer put in place by LEGO is not yet over as already the offers for this exclusive Shadow ARF Trooper minifig (Never seen anywhere to date in the Star Wars universe by the way ...) are multiplying. on eBay, as a simple search shows.
With a price ranging between 16 and 25 euros, we see that speculation is rife on LEGO products.
If you've decided to skip the LEGO offer but still want to get this minifigure, don't wait too long ...
Its price will increase over the weeks and you may have to pay a high price for it as is already the case with some limited edition minifigs like the Chrome Darth Vader or White boba fett.

loose teasingI'm really disappointed ..... days and days of teasing, fierce discussions on the various forums, speculation on the content of the offer ... and the mountain gives birth to a mouse ...
I wanted to believe that LEGO was going to pull out all the stops during these two days by offering something if not exceptional, at least appealing to the fans.

The result is disappointing, even shameful: 10% discount on 3 sets: 8091 Republic Swamp Speeder, 8129 AT-AT Walker & 8128 Cad Bane's Speeder and 20% discount on 3 other sets: 10198 Tantive IV, 10195 Republic Dropship with AT-OT Walker & 10215 Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter. A poster and a minifigure. Full stop, walk around, there is nothing to see ....

These sets, released for several months already, are easily found much cheaper on Amazon or Peek and Poke, among others ... and at the time when I post - groan - the 10195 is already out of date with a delivery date at June 1, 2011.

In short, once again, LEGO is doing a little too much and does not necessarily put the means to create the event, content to create a buzz in a vacuum.

Of course, I placed my order, to get the poster and the minifigure, because I'm a pathological collector, but I expected better, more, a set launch (which UCS Executor said ?), to a bundle of different sets, or to a more substantial discount on the entire current Star Wars range, bearing in mind that LEGO has the highest prices on the market (Public prices).

I would console myself by hanging the poster on the wall, and telling myself that once again, I am one of those people who love LEGOs, but not necessarily those who make them .....

5680809441 6b00d0540d oHere is the official visual of the poster which is offered during the promotional offer of May 3 and 4.

As announced by LEGO, there are 10 years of sets from the range of Ultimate Collector Series (UCS) sets and from the range of so-called "exclusive" sets but which are not considered as UCS by the AFOL community.
Note the grayed-out visual of the set 10221 UCS Super Star Destroyer with a mention that this set is only available in the LEGO Shop or the LEGO Store.

A nice poster that will find its place in any Star Wars collection.

In addition, below is the official visual of the exclusive Shadow ARF Trooper minifig offered from 55 € of purchases.

teasing legoDecidedly, the next 3 and 4 May have an interest in being exceptional ....

LEGO makes its teasing with a newsletter received instantly which announces with a mysterious tone: "Get exclusive LEGO® Star Wars ™ offers soon! You will learn more on May 3 and 4!"...

I don't mind being promised the exclusive and the sensational. But a minifigure and a poster, it still seems a bit short ...
So what is LEGO up to? Exceptional discounts on their sets in stock? The surprise release of a set like the 10221 UCS Executor for example?
In any case, I hope the event will live up to our expectations ...
