t 11 jedi strikerThe LEGO Club offers you to build an alternative model, the T-11 Jedi Striker using the parts of the set 7931 T-6 Jedi Shuttle.

For the background of the story, it is a machine designed by the jedi Saesee Tiin with parts of a damaged T-6 Jedi Shuttle.

For the occasion, this alternative model is much more interesting and more aesthetic than that of the original set.
This explains, with all the bad faith that I can show on the subject (I do not particularly like the 7931 set) probably the eagerness of LEGO to offer it to all those who, disappointed by the set 7931, the had already stored at the bottom of a cupboard or in their bulk bin for MOCs ....
Note that the LEGO Club offers many models to build with parts from various sets on this dedicated page.

30054I told you in a previous news the release of the mini set 30054: AT-ST and I mentioned the similarities between this set and the one released in 2003 under the reference 4486-1: AT-ST & Snowspeeder.

Here is a close-up photo comparing these two AT-STs on which we can better visualize the relationship between these two minis.

Besides the difference in colors of the parts used and the absence of serigraphy on the set 30054, we will note some differences on the parts used at the level of the legs of the machine.

Only die-hard collectors will go out of their way to find this cheaply on eBay or Bricklink.

2011 posterThe English are lucky, they can get a new poster incorporating the idea of the one released in 2009 on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the launch of the LEGO Star Wars range (and I was telling you about here).
This "Limited Edition Collector's Poster 2011"brings together 90 minifigs divided into two camps, the" good guys "and the" bad guys "and integrates the most recent minifigs delivered with the last sets released between 2009 and 2011, mixed in particular with some minifigs from set 10188 (Death Star).
You will find on this page some photos of average quality posted by a Eurobricks forumer.
Do not hesitate to let me know if you find this poster in a store in France, which I doubt all the same .....

instructionsLEGO is finally applying the promised temporary solution in order to best protect the instruction booklets and sticker sheets in large sets of more than 700/800 pieces.
As seen in this picture taken by a Eurobricks forumer unboxing his 10195 set (Republic Dropship with AT-OT Walker), the booklets and the sheet of stickers are protected by a bag and stiffened by a cardboard insert.
LEGO had already announced its intention to respond to numerous complaints from its customers on this subject (See this article from January 10, 2011).

A late but commendable initiative on the part of the manufacturer, while waiting for a final solution via a blister pack or a specially provided pouch.
In the meantime, if you have a problem with the instruction booklet or sticker sheet when opening one of your recently purchased sets, do not hesitate to contact LEGO customer service at this address to obtain a replacement.
