Well, we can't say that this set is a revolution in itself.
Collectors of minifigs will find something to do with Tokkat and Logray, two Ewoks not really successful for my taste (But although more elaborate than those in the set 7139 (Ewok Attack) from 2002, but which reminds me of the feeling I had when I first saw these critters in the movie They Are Scary.
More seriously, the two cubs are arbitrary to my taste and the tower / catapult will advantageously complete the set 8038 (The Battle of Endor) for a coherent diorama.
Not much more to say about this semblance of "Ewok Battle Pack".

Another Falcon .... But this one is starting to really please me with this enticing visual.
The structure is classic and already seen in the set 4504 which it is very close at first glance. So much the better, I prefer to forget the 7190 ....
To see if the gameplay will be there, but the upper panels of the structure are articulated, which should allow the interior to be used as a playing surface.
The minifigs provided are to match, Chewbacca, Obi-wan Kenobi, Leia Organa and Han Solo are classic remakes of the minfigs already released. Luke sports trendy hair, which not everyone likes, but Mark Hamill didn't have brush hair either ....
I still wonder what will be the price of this set, which will quickly become a must for all those who came to the collection of LEGO Star Wars sets late in the day and missed the sets. 4504 (Millennium Falcon), 7190 (Millennium Falcon) et 10179 (Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon).

They will find here something to satisfy their Falcon desires, other than with the successful but simplistic 7778 (Mid-scale Millennium Falcon).

On EuroBricks, we finally learn instead of the name announced as "Dathomir Speeder", the June 2001 set will be called (Subject to modification, we never know with TLC ...) "Sith Nightspeeder".
We find there the planned minifigs namely: Asajj Ventress (Ugly and especially difficult to recognize for those who have seen the animated series), Savage Opress (Really not bad) and yet another minifig of Anakin Skywalker.
The speeder itself leaves me skeptical, let's just hope that the patterns are screen printed and not in the form of stickers .....
Savage Opress's saber appears to be the most standard thing, unlike the one seen in the video game on the Starwars.com site.
In short, a set without panache, but which will have the merit of providing us with a very well done Savage Opress, the rest being barely passable .....

Also on EuroBricks, finally a visual for the long awaited Star Wars advent calendar planned for this year.

We see minifigs (Nute Gunray, Chewbacca, a Battle Droid, a Clone Trooper and a rebel pilot) but also mini ships, including a Slave One, a Tie Fighter and a LAAT / I.

Nothing more for now, but if other visuals filter through, I'll keep you posted.

Seen on EuroBricks, a forumer (Navy Trooper Fenson) posted on his flickr gallery fairly good quality photos of the upcoming minifigs with sets planned for June 2011.

My first impressions are pretty good (Click on the name of the characters or on the overall visual on the left to access the photos):

The minifigs Watto, Wald and Sebulba of set 7962 (Sebulbas & Anakins Podracers) seem really successful.

They will replace advantageously those released a few years ago. Sebulba is very realistic and conforms to the character of the films.
Watto's blue colourway is surprising but true to character after all.
The minifig padme from set 7961 ((Darth Maul Sith Infiltrator) is nice, without really paying homage to the character seen in the films. She once again sports this goofy look and this faithful hairstyle but poorly interpreted for my taste.
Le Darth Maul of set 7961 (Darth Maul Sith Infiltrator) is successful, the head is innovative, just like that of Savage opress from set 7957 (Dathomir Speeder). Finally, a Darth Maul without a hood. Savage Opress has epaulettes of the most beautiful effect.
Captain panaka of set 7961 (Darth Maul Sith Infiltrator) is very / too "cartoonish" for my taste, but again, the cap is difficult to replicate. The uniform is simplistic too.
Luke Skywalker of set 7964 (Millennium Falcon) is very successful both in terms of hold and hair.
Le Geonosian Pilot of set 7959 (Geonosian Starfighter) is nice, well dressed and the head is original, just like Ki-Adi-Mundi of the same set.
The Ewok and Logray from set 7956 (Ewok Attack) are moderately successful, but it is difficult to reproduce an Ewok correctly in minifigure. The green color of the Ewok is a bit violent and blends poorly with the black body and orange bow. Logray is more consistent when it comes to colors.
quinlan you of set 7963 (Republic Frigate) is also very "cartoon", just like Eeth Koth. The Clone Troopers et Order Wolffe are well reproduced.
We can feel the inspiration of the animated series The Clone Wars.
Overall, these minifigs from June 2011 form a not necessarily coherent mix between those of the films and those from the animated series.
The "cartoon" inspiration is very present, but I must admit that I am more a fan of minifigs inspired by the movies. No doubt a question of generation.
Younger people will probably be more attracted to a Quinlan Vos or a Savage Opress, than to Han Solo or Obi-Wan Kenobi. It's normal after all.
