Following the many reactions of customers who have seen their orders outright canceled in recent days (see comments from this article), King Jouet finally reacts on the blog by posting the message below.
It seems that an a priori satisfactory solution is emerging for all those who were unable to take advantage of the brand's latest promotional operation:
Hello,
We take note of all your comments and would like to point out that our stocks are updated every 15 minutes and take into account: However, given the success of the “-15% discount on all LEGO and DUPLO products” operation valid on 15/12/2013, a number of our LEGO orders placed on 15/12/2013 were unable to be honored (partial delivery or totally canceled order) and we apologize for the inconvenience caused. Know that King-jouet.com will not forget its dissatisfied customers ... We have identified all the customers whose LEGO order (s) have been partially delivered or canceled and will issue a personalized e-mail from 27/12/2013 containing a one-time benefit code giving entitlement to 15% immediate discount on all LEGO and DUPLO products. (advantage code valid 06 months from the issue of the latter) In addition, King-jouet.com also undertakes to restock all products that fell out of stock on 15/12/2013 (subject to manufacturer availability). The entire King-jouet.com team would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused and wish you a happy holiday season. The King-jouet.com team |
The phenomenon seems to me to be taking on a certain scale and even if everything is relative, I take the trouble to talk about it here: King Jouet is currently canceling orders en masse from customers who took advantage of the last promotion to order LEGO sets.
The post comments announcing last Sunday's promotion are edifying, I add the many emails received over the past few hours which all mention an outright cancellation of an order without any explanation or apologies from the merchant who seems to have big communication and stock management problems.
I never hesitate to relay a good plan here at a toy merchant, but the turn of events convinced me to permanently remove the King Jouet sign from the list of merchants that I regularly recommend on the blog. I will therefore no longer publish the offers of this merchant who obviously has trouble getting organized during the most important period of the year for his sector of activity ....
I sent an email to their customer service which has so far gone unheeded. I'm not expecting any particular reaction from the merchant, but if someone who works there comes on the blog, they can obviously come forward to give us some explanation about this wave of order cancellations.
Sorry for the lack of responsiveness on this occasion, but King Jouet is offering an immediate 15% discount on the entire LEGO offer today, December 15th.
You can add a 5% discount with the code CSKJ2013 and Colissimo delivery is free for orders over € 49.
There are a few hours left to take advantage of this offer, and if you're late with your Christmas shopping, now is the time to catch up.
(Thanks to filpinpin and J0NJ0N for their emails)
As noted in the comments by Tirelipimpon57, some Star Wars 2014 novelties are already available at Maxi Toys at prices which seem to be the public prices which will also be charged by LEGO on the Lego shop :

Do you want to show your passion for LEGO in all circumstances? You need one of these watches ...
ClickTime, which also produces the alarm clocks in the shape of giant minifigs, has just announced the effective availability of the entire range of officially licensed LEGO adult watches that I told you about in early October.
There are many models on offer and I find it to be rather expensive (£ 79 to £ 145) for a plastic watch made in China, even fitted with a Japanese mechanism, mineral glass and water resistant to 100m .
It is possible to order on the ClicTime website (See the online catalog) and to be delivered before Christmas, even if many models are already out of stock. As we say, when we love we don't count ...
