Anyone who feared that Beorn's hair and beard were part of the head had reason to worry.
A user on the Eurobricks forum ( Combee ), who has already acquired the new LEGO The Hobbit sets, including set 79011 Dol Guldur Ambush , posted the photo above (to which I've added the official image of the minifigure). This confirms that Beorn is equipped with what could almost be called a " meta-piece " for his face and hair/beard. Too bad...
