LEGO and SONY today unveiled a new product, the first images of which were already available through the usual channels: the 72306 Playstation set with its inventory of 1911 pieces and its retail price set at €159,99.
I don't need to spell it out for you, this is about building a model of the famous game console which will be almost at 1:1 scale. The real console marketed in 1994 measured exactly 27.5 cm long by 19 cm wide and 6.35 cm high, the LEGO version measures 26 cm long by 19 cm wide and 6 cm high.
Inside the PS1 console, here in SCPH-9001 version and which will obviously be accompanied by its controller, you will find two removable side dioramas inspired by the video games Gran Turismo (1997) and Ape Escape (1999).

Attention LEGO Pokémon collectors: the LEGO Pokémon 4000702 SMART Trophy Tag polybag and the associated 41-piece build were given away during the Pokémon World Championships 2026, and you now have to turn to the secondary market to get a copy of these two products.
As usual, sellers are having a field day with prices reaching dizzying heights, although some offers are what one might almost consider reasonable given the rarity of the item.

LEGO is doing it again with a new day specially dedicated to members of the Insiders program which will take place on September 9, 2026.
Let's not get carried away, there's nothing special to expect and it won't be the big party some might imagine: Insider points will only be doubled on the DUPLO, Friends, Classic, Creator 3in1, CITY, NINJAGO and DREAMZzz ranges.

As you probably already know, the Harry Potter saga is returning to the screen soon in the form of a series directly adapted from the books and produced by HBO. We suspected that LEGO would be involved, releasing a large number of merchandise products to accompany the series, and this is now officially confirmed.
A short teaser shown during the Back to Hogwarts Showcase 2026 live event reveals three of the minifigures that will be included in the upcoming sets based on the series: Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger:

LEGO today unveils two more new 2026 sets with a holiday theme: set 40866 Santa's Sleigh Adventure (187 pieces - €29,99), which is a budget version of set 40499 Santa's Sleigh released in 2021, and set 40862 Holiday Ornament Selection 2 (179 pieces - €12,99), which is based on set 40744 Christmas Ornament Selection released in 2024.
