minifigureThe release of the LEGO Store Calendar in May 2011 started the debate: For $ 75 of purchases of products from the LEGO Star Wars range in stores or on the LEGO Shop, Americans (and perhaps us Europeans via the Shop) will be offered an exclusive minifigure represented on the pdf announcing this promotion via a strange dark form.

The discussion is going well on the various forums including that ofSteine Imperium where a consensus seems to be made around a possible black ARF Trooper minifigure.

In any case, I hope we will have access to this promotion, or we will still have to put out a few dollars on Bricklink or eBay to get it ....

I put below an image of these ARF Troopers, for you to get an idea of the resemblance between the two visuals.
Some forumers have raised the possibility that the representation presented on the Store Calendar is a generic visual simply announcing the exclusive character of the minifigure that will be offered and only confirming that it will indeed be part of the Star Wars universe .....

20021A new BrickMaster set has just surfaced, and it's pretty cool.
Ce Mini Bounty Hunter Gunship respects the colors and the general shape of the classic version of this machine delivered in the set 7930: Bounty Hunter Assault Gunship.
Once again, as always with the BrickMaster sets that we do not have access to in France, you will have to be patient but stay tuned and look for this set on eBay or Bricklink, without waiting for its price to skyrocket.

This was particularly the case with the set 20006: Clone Turbo Tank that I personally had to pay a high price on Bricklink because it was so difficult to get it in its new version with a sealed bag.

In the meantime, you can reproduce this set using the instructions downloadable here direct from LEGO:

5582344847 7cfdacba40 bThe new Lego Store Calendar from May 2011 (downloadable here in pdf format) has been released and once again it gives us good reason to be disappointed not to benefit from the interesting offers reserved for American AFOLs.
Note the possibility of being offered an exclusive Star Wars minifigure for the purchase of $ 75 of products from the range in a LEGO Store or on the American online store.
This offer is not available, at least for the moment, on the French Shop.

The long-awaited (and heralded ...) opening of the LEGO® STAR WARS ™ Miniland at LEGOLAND Park in California is scheduled for tomorrow.
If, like me, you are (a little too) far away to attend the event, you can always console yourself with this webcam showing live images of the Star Wars section of the park.

mega factoriesIn October 2010, a film crew from the National Geographic channel visited the headquarters of the LEGO company in Billund to do a report aired on the channel's now cult show. Mega Factories.

Unlike the usual reports, often too summary and which fly over the subject a little quickly, this program has the merit of showing in detail the LEGO universe, the design, the manufacture of parts, the packaging of products, etc ... .

The show is available in full and in French (following its broadcast in 2012 on Direct8) below:
