A rich day in terms of MOCs with Georges G.'s Hornburg in micro format and Ar Sparfel's Jabba's Palace.
This new module will join the Mos Eisley Cantina and the Sarlacc Pit to complete the Tatooine diorama that Ar Sparfel will likely present at Fana'Briques 2013 and other upcoming LEGO events.
Ar Sparfel has also anticipated any problems associated with the transport of his diorama by composing it in the form of modules that can be assembled quickly and moved without too much damage.
It's hard not to draw a parallel with set 9516 Jabba's Palace accompanied by 75005 Rancor Pit ,
But the comparison stops there. Ar Sparfel saw the big picture and we feel that minifigs can "breathe" in this more ventilated environment.
This is the perfect module for an exhibition: there's so much to discover depending on the angle, and it's visually stunning with its impressive number of Tan pieces combined with the distinctive shape of the palace and its tower, which most Star Wars fans will immediately recognize (from afar). This upcoming giant Tatooine diorama is sure to be one of the must-see attractions at future LEGO shows.
Note that the module will be completed with other minifigs (Rancor in the cave, C-3PO and R2-D2 in front of the door) during future exhibitions.
