LEGO 5009823 Fish Tank Filter & Fish Food: the free DLC for your aquarium for €449,99

LEGO has put the promotional set's description sheet online 5009823 Fish Tank Filter & Fish Food, a small box of 177 pieces which will be offered to members of the LEGO Insiders program on the official online store from November 13 to 19, 2025 for the purchase of the LEGO ICONS set 10366 Tropical Aquarium (449,99 €).

We learn that the contents of this product will allow you to "perfect" the aquarium by completing it with a filter to be installed outside the structure and within which you will find a fish that has gotten lost along the way. Everything will be accompanied by a small box of fish food.

As with the Death Star expansion with a TIE Fighter that should have come standard in the box, once again it feels like LEGO removed content from the base set to artificially create a planned freebie to try and drive purchase at launch. These accessories should have been included in the set 10366 Tropical Aquarium, at €450 a joke, it was probably the least we could do.

Those who fall for it during the offer period will therefore have the "complete" product on their living room dresser, those who wait patiently for the aquarium to become (much) more accessible before falling for it will have to be content with the bare minimum.
