Several media including Le Télégramme et West France are currently echoing the opening on December 7 of a LEGO Store in Saint-Brieuc (Côtes-d'Armor). This is not completely true, it is in fact a temporary LEGO Workshop, similar to that of Bourges (18), which will open its doors in the alleys of the Les Champs shopping center and which should remain installed for at least the next two years.
The LEGO Workshops are temporary concept stores set up by the company Epicure Studio, a design and event consulting agency under contract with LEGO France. They probably have the value of a full-scale test to assess the interest of subsequently setting up a permanent sales space, franchised or not.
The prices charged in these LEGO Workshops are similar to those of products on the shelves of official LEGO Stores. On the other hand, no VIP program in these temporary shops, but the LEGO Workshop in Bourges allows you to obtain a 10% reduction on the prices charged on presentation of the VIP card.
This new 100 m2 boutique will be located near the entrance to the gallery accessible from rue du Général Leclerc.
It's now official and it's written in full on the temporary panels that hide the shop's installation work, the new LEGO Store in Marseille will open its doors on December 6. This will be the brand's 9th official store to open in France, not counting the stores in Toulouse, Dijon and Rosny-sous-Bois managed by the Italian company Percassi.
This new official store is located in the mall The Port Terraces open since 2014 and located in the 2nd arrondissement of the city (9, quai du Lazaret). The shops are open from 10 a.m. to 00 p.m. and access is possible by metro via line M20 to the station Joliette.
We do not yet know what LEGO has planned for this opening, or when the Grand Opening with some gifts offered to customers.

If you don't feel like waiting until November 1 to get your copy of the LEGO Ideas set 21320 Dinosaur Fossils (910 pieces - 59.99 €), know that Jonathan Brunn, the French fan designer behind the project, will be present at the LEGO Store in Bordeaux on Friday, October 25, 2019 from 17:00 p.m. to 20:00 p.m. for a signing session.
You will therefore have the opportunity to get your signed copy in world preview and to exchange a few words with one of the three French designers who had the chance to see their ideas go down in posterity this year, both others being Kevin Feeser with the set 21318 Treehouse and Aymeric Fiévet with the set 21319 Central Perk.
If you live too far from Bordeaux to make the trip, I thought of you and I offer you a chance to win a copy of the set 21320 Dinosaur Fossils autographed by Jonathan Brunn via the contest below. No participation via comments.
Update : The winner was drawn at random and was notified by email, his nickname is indicated in the interface below. Without a response from him to my request for contact details within 5 days, a new winner will be drawn.
The Italian company Percassi, which manages the LEGO Certified Stores established in France, Italy and Spain, is currently looking for a store manager for a new store which will be located in the aisles of the Créteil Soleil shopping center (94).
After Dijon, Rosny-sous-Bois and Toulouse, it will therefore be the fourth LEGO Certified Store established in France. Please note, as LEGO indicates, these shops are not spaces directly managed by the brand: "... These LEGO® stores are owned and operated by approved independent third parties. Offers, promotions, prices and inventory may vary. Also, the LEGO VIP loyalty program will not be available. Returns of products ordered from the LEGO.com online store will be refused. For more information, please contact these stores directly ..."
The position of director of this new store is currently to be filled, the job offer is available at this address.
(Thanks to Pierre for the alert)
If you have a LEGO Store near you, know that you can currently get the polybag as a gift 30545 Free Fish Builds from 35 € of purchase without restriction of range.
Not enough to get up at night or take the highway just for this polybag, but the 39 parts provided allow you to assemble some fish via the included visual and create your own models. Two pairs of eyes are provided, so you can assemble two fish at the same time.
Offer only valid in (real) LEGO Stores and until the end of August (while stocks last).
If you didn't know yet, the LEGO Stores in Bordeaux, Nice and Paris (Les Halles) are now open even on Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 19:00 p.m.
