We now know the exclusive minifigure that will be included in the cover of the next update of the Character Encyclopedia LEGO Star Wars: This is an exclusive version of Darth Maul with his double lightsaber.

Darth Maul is here delivered in the version briefly seen on screen in the movie Solo: A Star Wars Story. Is a new and exclusive minifigure based on a very short appearance on the screen of a character enough to motivate the purchase of a 224-page book sold for around twenty euros? For the majority of fans of the LEGO Star Wars range, obviously yes. For the others, it is up to them to see if the editorial content of the book which is in fact a non-exhaustive dictionary of minifigs sold in the Star Wars range justifies the expense.

If you like LEGO books, especially when they are accompanied by one or more minifigs, know that the book LEGO Batman vs. The joker is announced for August 2020.

In addition to the 128 pages of the book, the publisher includes two minifigs which are obviously not exclusive. The Batman minifigure and the one seen this year in the sets 76118 Mr Freeze Batcycle Battle, 76119 Batmobile: Pursuit of the Joker, 76120 Batwing and the Riddler Heist et 76122 Batcave Clayface Invasion.

The Joker minifig is the one available for a few months in the 4+ set 76138 Batman and The Joker Escape. Until now, it was exclusive to this box, this will no longer be the case next August.

The book will be a collection of the different sets marketed in recent years, all staged with a story that will serve as a common thread and a pretext for the staging of the content of these different boxes.

The collection of books LEGO Build Your Own Adventure will expand in 2020 with two new volumes based on the Jurassic World and CITY universes.

The Jurassic World version will make it possible to assemble a helicopter presented as exclusive, at the controls of which will take place the Owen Grady minifig already seen in many sets of the Jurassic World range and in the bags accompanying the magazine based on the license.

The CITY version, the second to date after a first volume released in 2016, offers an "exclusive" police vehicle accompanied by a generic police officer already seen in the LEGO CITY range.

For those who do not know the principle of this collection of books of 80 pages accompanied by a bag of bricks, they are collections of ideas of constructions gathered with a more or less interesting story in common thread.

No explicit instructions except for the model provided, it's up to you to do a bit of reverse engineering in order to reconstruct the other models offered. The inventory provided only allows you to assemble the "exclusive" model, for the other models, make do with your stock of parts.

Amazon updated the book listing LEGO NINJAGO Choose Your Ninja Mission and we now know the identity of the minifig that will be delivered with this 128-page book: it is Jay in Legacy version, it is also on the cover.

Fans of the Ninjago universe will have understood that this minifigure is obviously not exclusive, it is the one already delivered this year in the sets 70660 Spinjitzu Jay, (€9.99), 70668 Jay's Storm Fighter (39.99 €) and 70670 Monastery of Spinjitzu (84.99 €).

There is therefore no objective reason to invest in this book, which is sold for more than 15 €, unless you really master English and you like this format "Book of which you are the hero"which allows you to take (a little) control of your adventure with about forty possible endings.

The book is currently in pre-order with availability announced for March 19, 2020. No information for the moment on a possible French translation.

If you diligently collect minifigs (or sets) from the LEGO Harry Potter universe, here is something to expand your collections a little more with a new book to be published in 2020 entitled LEGO Harry Potter Magical Treasury and subtitled A Visual Guide to the Wizarding World which will allow you to obtain an exclusive minifigure.

Behind this very emphatic title hides a new visual encyclopedia of sets and minifigs marketed in the LEGO Harry Potter range until the publication date of the book.

This new volume will finally take over from the version released in 2011 (Building the Magical World) with an exclusive Harry Potter minifig, followed in 2012 by a book dedicated to the minifigs in the range (Characters of the Magical World), also accompanied by an exclusive version of the young wizard.

It's unclear which character it will be this time around, the cover uploaded by amazon is a provisional illustration and the shadow of the inset minifigure is also likely just a temporary graphic element.
