DK (Dorling Kindersley) Publisher finally reveals the cover of the next version of its flagship work, the LEGO Star Wars character encyclopedia Updated Edition which will be marketed in April 2025 and we therefore discover that the exclusive minifig which will be inserted in the cover of this 224-page book is that of Emperor Palpatine in version The Rise of Skywalker. This new figurine will remain exclusive to the work, at least in this form and with this precise pad printing.

Nothing prevents a variation of the character in this outfit that would one day be offered by LEGO in a future set, but the most assiduous collectors will have to obtain this book which will bring together a non-exhaustive list of the different minifigs marketed in the LEGO Star Wars range over the years with for each of the characters concerned a few facts and other anecdotes if they want to get this unpublished version of Palpatine.

It is a fact that what is now called the BOTANICALS range at LEGO has largely found its audience and the manufacturer is multiplying the references with ever more plastic plants and flowers. Some references in the range such as the set 10328 Bouquet of Roses (€59,99) will be the top LEGO sales in 2024 and 2025 will see the arrival of the first officially licensed LEGO derivative products from this much-loved universe.

On the program, at least two boxes imagined by the publishers AMEET and Buster Books which will allow to assemble exclusive mini-models with on one side a set of succulents of 54 pieces which recalls the contents of the set 10309 Succulents (€49.99) and on the other a mini bouquet of wild flowers of 95 pieces which obviously refers to the contents of the set 10313 Wildflower Bouquet (€59.99). These two constructions will be accompanied by their respective booklets which will provide some information on the plants and flowers concerned over 32 pages.

The library of LEGO and Marvel universe fans will expand from May 13, 2025 with a new book already announced by the publisher Dorling Kindersley (DK): LEGO Marvel Spider-Man Explore the Spider-Verse will bring together in just 64 pages the majority of LEGO products marketed to date around Spider-Man and will allow you to obtain an exclusive figurine of the character.

The official description seems to confirm that it will indeed be a variant of Spider-Man (...Comes with an exclusive LEGO Spider-Man minifigure...), the minifig has not yet been revealed by the publisher and we have to make do with the temporary visual above.
