40922 lego brickheadz disney stitch angel review 1

Today we're taking a very quick look at the contents of the LEGO BrickHeadz set. 40922 Lilo & Stitch: Angel, a box of 133 pieces available exclusively since January 1, 2026 on the official online store at the public price of €12,99.

Keen observers will have noticed that the unit price of these figurines, sold exclusively by LEGO on its online store, has increased significantly this year, going from €9,99 per figurine to €12,99 and the pack of two characters goes from €19,99 to €24,99.

I haven't held a LEGO BrickHeadz figure in my hands for a long time, so this was an opportunity to rediscover this format initially conceived by designer Marcos Bessa, unveiled in 2016 at San Diego Comic Con and then officially released in 2017. To date, the range has nearly 300 references and this one bears the number 293.

The goal here is to assemble a cube-shaped Angel figure that will join the Stitch figure from the set. 40674 Stitch (152 pieces - €12.99) on fans' shelves. Nothing new under the sun; the techniques used are still those of the usual format, with a few variations for the iconic attributes of the character in question. No stickers in this box; the figure didn't need them anyway.

It's still just as quick to assemble, the result is still just as constrained by the format which nevertheless seems to appeal to many fans who collect these figurines and the recent increase in the public price of the thing finally convinces me not to embark on this collection.

This figure isn't the worst in this ever-growing collection, which offers varying degrees of success depending on the subject matter. The designer does a good job considering the constraints, and the whole thing remains cute enough to appeal to fans. €13 for this, though, I still think is a bit pricey, and I sympathize with those who can't reasonably forgo part of their collection despite the price increase for these little boxes.

These products can be used to complete a basket on the official online store to reach, for example, the minimum amount required to take advantage of a promotional offer, or we can wait for double Insider points to reduce the cost a little. LEGO seems to have slowed down the pace of releases somewhat, which is always a consolation for those affected by the price surge.

Today we're going to quickly review the contents of the LEGO Disney set 43286 The Aristocats: Adorable Marie, a box of 369 pieces currently available for pre-order on the official online store at a public price of €39,99 and which will be available from January 1, 2026.

I don't need to draw you a picture, this is about assembling a display figurine of Marie, the daughter of Duchess, the older sister of Berlioz and the younger sister of Toulouse in the animated film The Aristocats released in theaters in 1971.

Why not, if LEGO truly intends to release the entire cat family as well as the two main characters from the film? The figure isn't exactly groundbreaking, but it would easily fit into a collection of similar cat figurines. However, I doubt Disney and LEGO are considering other cats from the same film; we know that almost all the merchandise from this franchise features only Marie.

The animal is quite well designed considering the limited inventory of parts, some of which are also used in the buildable accessories. The fur isn't ultra-detailed, but a few small elements provide the necessary texture to make it all quite believable. At this scale, there are bound to be some aesthetic shortcuts, like the slightly flat head seen in profile, but overall it seems fairly coherent.

This vaguely articulated cat, about fifteen centimeters tall, might appeal to younger children, but there's not really much fun to be had here, contrary to what LEGO claims when they promise us "games full of fantasy"Marie's head can be moved (slightly), her ears can be positioned (slightly), her tail, fixed to a clearly visible gray ball joint, can be raised or placed to the side, and her single movable leg can be raised to be placed on the included box. Everything else is fixed on this display figure."

Marie's face is pad-printed, and in my opinion, it's very well done; there are no stickers in the box. LEGO provides a pretty pink bow to place around the cat's neck. The material is high quality, and the accessory doesn't wrinkle. The cat comes with a few accessories, including a box that's obviously used to pose the animal, taking advantage of its movable paw. The colorful build included with the box, the comb, and the fish is supposedly a mouse, probably a vaguely stylized version of the Roquefort character.

In short, this cute little display set is yet another entry in the middle of the LEGO Disney range, and it will undoubtedly appeal to those nostalgic for the franchise as well as cat lovers of all kinds. There's obviously no good reason to pay the full retail price of €40 for it; this cat will be available at a discounted price everywhere in the coming months.

43287 lego disney frozen olaf bruni picnic fun review 2

Today we're going to quickly review the contents of the LEGO Disney set 43287 Olaf & Bruni's Picnic Fun, a box of 478 pieces which is currently available for pre-order on the official online store and will be available from January 1, 2026 at the public price of €49,99.

This product is inspired by the animated film Frozen 2 (Frozen 2) released in theaters in 2019 features the indispensable Olaf who is here accompanied by the little salamander Bruni.

All those who have been waiting for a more convincing version of Olaf since the one in the small set 41169 Olaf (122 pieces - €14,99) Released in 2019, this set should be a welcome addition, featuring a nice, albeit seated and static, figure of the character. It's a shame about the gray ball joints that allow the snowman's branches to move; we'll have to make do with them. The blue area of the mouth seems a little odd to me, but it's visually consistent with what we see on screen. Perhaps the bottom of the mouth could be a little more rounded.

Otherwise, the designer does a pretty good job, and Olaf looks as round as possible despite the pieces not always allowing for a convincing result. The "ball" that serves as his torso could have been more rounded than simply round with two flat ends, but that's a minor detail. Olaf's gaze is faithful here, certainly more so than in the 2019 version.

The Bruni minifigure, shown here in fire spirit mode, is almost identical in its construction to that of the set. 43186 Bruni The Salamander Buildable Character (96 pieces - €12,99) released in 2021, it retains the good idea of the car hood for the head and LEGO adds a movable tail to this new version.

The two characters come with a few accessories including a pretty checkered rug on which they can be displayed, a marshmallow on the end of a branch and a mug of hot chocolate.

The small campfire that was supposed to be included in the set is missing. 43186 Bruni The Salamander Buildable CharacterYou can always retrieve or reproduce the micro-assembly in question to flesh out this new staging a little.

Everything here is pad-printed, there are no stickers in this box and the two characters will therefore be protected from premature wear of the printed surfaces.

This little set should delight Frozen fans, young and old, who have been waiting for LEGO to take a more serious look at Olaf. It's not quite a minifigure on par with what we regularly get in the Star Wars universe with the Porg or Grogu, but it's still better than nothing and certainly much better than the very mediocre 2019 version of the snowman.

Today we're taking a quick look at the contents of several new Disney sets, which complement each other and form a great starting point for a collection. In 2026, LEGO is introducing a new format for minifigures made of pieces, and six Disney princesses will have the honor of launching this new offering, which should appeal to younger children.

The three sets you will need to acquire to complete the collection:

The largest of the three sets will allow you to create the "display stand." It's what LEGO rather pretentiously calls a castle, but it quickly becomes clear that the structure will only serve to showcase the buildable minifigures, two of which are included in the box. LEGO doesn't hesitate to point out that the empty spaces can be filled with minifigures from two other sets, enough to motivate customers to return to the checkout without delay.

Each slot is associated with a character, and there are six in total to place within the castle. An additional platform placed at the top of the structure will allow you to showcase your current favorite princess. The modules that make up the castle can be slightly rearranged for a personalized display; the possibilities are limited, but simply moving a few clips will achieve the desired result.

The Anna, Elsa, Belle, Tiana, Jasmine, and Rapunzel figurines are surprising with their oversized eyes and a finish that seems to straddle the line between Minions and BrickHeadz, but the aesthetic choice at least has the merit of being very original and certainly a bit more appealing to young audiences than the ever-present Kinder Surprise mini-dolls. There are no stickers in these boxes; the princesses' faces are pad-printed with a rather successful cartoon effect.

In short, if you have fans of these Disney princesses in your circle, don't miss out on this new product which could enhance a shelf; you offer the main set, and the uncles and aunts take care of the small additional boxes which allow you to obtain the extra princesses.

Let's hope LEGO doesn't make the concept a fleeting idea and that the manufacturer follows up in 2026 with a few more princesses; the possibilities are numerous and the idea can also be applied to male characters.

If we put ourselves at a child's level, it's LEGO as we like it, creative, original, well designed and attractive for the youngest fans of the brand and it's a nice change from minifigs, mini-dolls and other micro-dolls.
