LEGO today unveils the set 21334 Jazz Quartet, a new reference from the LEGO Ideas range inspired by the project initially submitted on the platform by Hsinwei Chi. The proposal had found its audience, it had gathered the 10.000 supporters essential for its passage into the review phase and it had been definitively validated by LEGO in October 2021.
The official interpretation of the initial idea is composed of 1606 pieces and this new box of the range will be available at the public price of 99.99 € in VIP preview from June 28, 2022. Global availability scheduled for July 1.
The overall scene measures 43cm long by 16cm deep and 20cm high and the set can be assembled by four thanks to its design in separate modules and the breakdown of the instructions into several booklets.
We will talk more about this box in a few days during a "Review " but I can already make a remark: I find that the conversion of the initial idea into an official product loses its grace with characters that seem to me to be getting a little rougher in both design and attitude. I vaguely feel like I'm going from the hushed scene of a Jazz club in New Orleans to a Forbans concert in a bar in Champigny-sur-Marne. I'm probably exaggerating a bit, but that's the immediate impression I got when I discovered this new product.
I don't work for LEGO®, I am not corrupted by LEGO®, I buy my LEGO® myself and what I am given, I offer it to the readers of the site.
For the rest, the owners of the respective brands mentioned on the site remain the owners and it is very well like that, blablabla ....
The fact that LEGO thrills by sending sets for reviews and other tests obviously does not influence my opinion on these products.
