LEGO IDEAS 21353 Botanical Garden: the set is online on the Shop

LEGO officially unveils the LEGO IDEAS set today 21353 Botanical Garden, a box inspired by the idea called The Botanical Garden submitted in its time by Valentina Bima (Goannas89) on the LEGO IDEAS platform. The project was then officially validated December 2023.

The Victorian-style greenhouse measures 51 cm long by 25 cm wide and 22 cm high, it includes 12 minifigs including four staff members and eight visitors. Some animals are also present: a dog, a squirrel, a rabbit, four birds as well as a ladybug.

The set offers an inventory of 3672 pieces, it displays a public price set at €329,99 and LEGO confirms a marketing date set for November 1, 2024. We already know that many fans who are nevertheless sensitive to the proposition will give it a miss and settle for the LEGO Friends set. 41757 Botanical Garden (1072 pieces - €84.99) which deals with more or less the same subject with a little less ambition but in a more economical manner.

The bravest who check out as soon as the product launches and before November 7, 2024 will be offered a copy of the LEGO Botanicals promotional set 5009005 Entrance Gate :

Let's hope that LEGO had the good idea to properly and separately package the many transparent pieces delivered in this box, the rendering of the product relies heavily on the greenhouse windows and the slightest scratch will be a stain on the fans' shelves.

It will be without me, I find the whole thing rather successful but I don't know what to do with this construction which deserves to find its place in a city diorama lacking greenery. Poison Ivy would find her account there but not at this price.
