LEGO just announced the result of the first phase of LEGO IDEAS evaluation of the year 2024, with a batch that brought together 48 ideas that were more or less successful but which had all managed to gather the 10.000 supporters necessary for them to move on to the review stage.
As is often the case, we find in this selection of medieval, more medieval, proposals under various and varied licenses as well as some creations which attempt to surf on the subjects currently addressed by different ranges of the manufacturer such as flowers or products with a lifestyle vocation.
Only one project was definitively selected, it is the idea soberly entitled Minerals Display submitted by Dario Del Frate aka ddf72 on the LEGO IDEAS platform:
Everything else goes directly and without momentum to the wayside and the creators of these different projects will have to make do with the “consolation” prize made up of LEGO products with a total value of $500 offered to all those who reach 10.000 supporters. For some of them, in my opinion, it is already well paid.
While we wait to learn more about this product that will soon join the LEGO IDEAS range, you can always try to guess who will emerge victorious from the next phase of review. which brings together 35 ideas and the result of which will be revealed soon:
If you are still hesitant about purchasing the LEGO IDEAS set 21353 Botanical Garden (€329,99) via the official online store, please note that the associated promotional offer currently in progress and which allows you to be offered a copy of the LEGO set 5009005 Entrance Gate (152 pieces) is extended until November 11, 2024, whereas it was initially scheduled to end on 7/11.
Evil tongues will see in this extension of the offer a sign of poor sales of the LEGO IDEAS set. 21353 Botanical Garden At its public price, we also know that the LEGO set 5009015 Cerebro offered for the purchase of the set 76294 The X-Mansion (€329,99) is sold out before the end of the relevant offer which was also scheduled to last until November 7, 2024.
Those who validate their order in the coming days will also be able to obtain a copy of the LEGO IDEAS set 40698 Books Are My Passion offered from 130 € of purchase without restriction of range and still in stock at LEGO at the time of writing.
Let's go for the actual availability of two new LEGO products that we have already talked about a lot here and elsewhere with on one side the X-Men school accompanied by a large handful of minifigs and on the other the official version of the botanical garden initially proposed by a fan via the LEGO IDEAS platform. These two products are at the same public price of €329,99 and LEGO has imagined two small promotional products that are responsible for motivating fans to spend the requested amounts.
As usual, it's up to you to decide whether to jump right in and pay the full price for these sets or whether to be a little patient and wait for the inevitable discounts that will be offered in the weeks and months to come. at Amazon, on FNAC.com, at Cdiscount, at Auchan as well as some other retailers.
