The LEGO team in charge of evaluating LEGO Ideas projects that have reached 10.000 supporters will once again have to roll up their sleeves: 36 projects have been selected for the third phase of the 2022 review.
As usual, the selection is made up of more or less interesting ideas, slightly wacky projects that a priori have no chance of passing, various and varied licenses, modulars, medieval sets, etc...
Fans have voted, now it's up to LEGO to sort out and select the idea or ideas that deserve to pass on to posterity. Always so difficult to risk a prognosis, we know that LEGO sometimes has the ability to surprise and disappoint us at the same time. All will not be lost for those who see their project go down the drain, they will receive a consolation endowment consisting of LEGO products with a total value of $500.
If you want to find out more about all these projects, go to the LEGO Ideas blog, they are all listed there. Result expected for summer 2023.
As far as I'm concerned, I just hope that the project Classic Thunderbirds by Andrew Clark will be validated, it's all my youth.
Update : there are in fact only 35 projects in the running, the one inspired by the film The Neverending Story having been withdrawn following a request from the rights holders.
We continue today with the putting into play of a copy of the LEGO Ideas set 21333 Vincent Van Gogh - The Starry Night worth 169.99 €.
To validate your participation and try to add this pretty painting to your collection at a lower cost, simply identify yourself via the interface below and follow the instructions provided. As usual, it is a question of finding information on the official online store and then answering the question correctly. At the end of the participation phase, the winner will be chosen by lot from the correct answers. Participation is free and without obligation to purchase.
Your contact details (name / nickname, email address, IP) are only used within the framework of this competition and will not be kept beyond the drawing of lots which will designate the winner. As usual, this no-obligation competition is open to all residents of mainland France, DOM & TOM, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland.
The set is as usual generously provided by LEGO, it will be sent to the winner by me as soon as his contact details are confirmed by return email. Attention, the box is not in perfect condition, the fault of the logistics.
As always, I reserve the right to disqualify any participant who has attempted to defraud or hijack the entry system in order to increase their chances of winning. Hateful and bad losers to abstain, the others will have more chances to win.
Good luck to everyone !
No participation via comments, I leave the form open as long as the contestants who cannot read are not yet there. Then we close.
For information: the name / nickname of the winner is displayed in the participation interface once the draw has been made. I also notify the winners by email, but remember to check anyway.
We continue today with the putting into play of a copy of the LEGO Ideas set 21335 Motorized Lighthouse worth €299.99. At this price, the engine and the lighting are provided, which is not an easy task at LEGO.
To validate your participation and try to add this motorized lighthouse to your collection at a lower cost, simply identify yourself via the interface below and follow the instructions provided. As usual, it is a question of finding information on the official online store and then answering the question correctly. At the end of the participation phase, the winner will be chosen by lot from the correct answers. Participation is free and without obligation to purchase.

Remember, LEGO had already collaborated with the US Target brand on the occasion of a first competition which resulted in the drafting of the LEGO Ideas project? Viking Village, the latter becoming one day an official product of the range.
A second competition on the theme of the family had been launched and more than 200 participations had been recorded. A jury had selected four of them which then had to be decided. The fans then voted and the winner of this new competition has just been designated: it is the project Your Family Tree submitted by Bulldoozer.
As with all products in the LEGO Ideas range, the original idea will now be reworked by the Billund designers and it will one day end up on the shelves of the official store and the American brand. The winner will be treated like anyone who successfully completes the classic LEGO Ideas process: they will earn royalties up to 1% of sales and will be credited as Fan Designer.
The jury sorted the 620 ideas submitted as part of the partnership between LEGO and W aiming to produce a set on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the license Dungeons & Dragons and it's now up to you to vote. Five projects have been selected and it is therefore up to you to decide between them to try to take the one that seems most relevant to you to the end of the adventure.
It is at this address that it happens, you only have the opportunity to vote once and you can do so until December 12, 2022. Please note, this voting phase will only be used to assess fan interest in one project or another but LEGO reserves the right to choose another creation upon arrival.
Do not conclude that voting is useless: if the majority of voters lean towards one and the same project, LEGO will have a hard time justifying not choosing it to become an official product...
