A little teasing does not hurt, the "sensation" of the day is the visual above posted by LEGO on almost all social networks to announce the imminent or imminent arrival of the set LEGO Ideas 21304 Doctor Who . While waiting to learn more, we discover the TARDIS a little closer, accompanied by its stickers.
I remind all those who have not followed that this set, announced by LEGO last February, is based on AndrewClark2's LEGO Ideas project.
Here's something to keep everyone who bought the set busy LEGO Ideas 21303 WALL-E and who want to modify the mounting bracket of the head to give it a little stiffness.
Chris McVeigh, A talented MOCeur and emeritus photographer, is the first to share his solution via the visual above.
The exploded view will allow you to gather the parts necessary for the assembly of the module in question.
Update : Chris McVeigh has uploaded a complete guide to integrate this solution at this address.
The rumor swells, and when the rumor swells in the small world of LEGO, it is difficult to distinguish between the true and the false.
There is currently talk on various sites and blogs of a possible postponement of the date of sale, scheduled until proven otherwise for September 1, of the set LEGO Ideas 21303 WALL-E.
This postponement is according to some due to a design (or construction ...) defect which would cause instability of the head of the small robot.
LEGO has not confirmed or denied anything and the set is still announced for now for September 1st on the LEGO Shop.
Some mention the possibility of a recall of products already shipped to several brands who have also hastened to sell these few boxes. This will not happen, and if by chance the manufacturer should find a solution to this "problem", it will probably be as usual a set of parts allowing the modification of the original model which will be shipped by client service.
At this stage, the best indicator remains the respect of the date planned for the sale of this box. If LEGO has decided to change its content, the date will be postponed by several weeks on the LEGO Shop. This is still not the case as of this writing.
Everyone who has been impatiently waiting to learn more about the upcoming LEGO Ideas set featuring the little WALL • E robot rejoice: The official visuals for this box are already live on the toy store chain's website. British Smyths toys.
The lower compartment opens, the robot's head and arms are articulated and it rolls, if pushed. I trust LEGO fans, someone will find a way to motorize the thing.
This set is announced for early December 2015 at the UK price of £ 39.99 (€ 57.99 in Ireland).
Now that the visuals are in the wild and that the announcement effect will inevitably fall a bit flat, LEGO should soon upload the complete set sheet and the presentation video ...
