Barely recovered from the official visuals of the LEGO The Hobbit sets that will be available at the end of the year, here is already a list of the LEGO Lord of the Rings sets planned for 2014, posted on EB by someone who claims to have had access to preliminary visuals, which should fuel discussions for the coming weeks/months:
The Mirror of Galadriel : A set with Frodo and Galadriel minifigures, a mirror, and a statue. (US retail price announced at $12.99)
Amon Hen Ambush : A box containing 2 Uruk-hai , Boronir, and a Hobbit who might be Merry. Some stairs. (US retail price announced at $25.99)
The Defence of Osgiliath : A set containing 2 Orcs, 1 Gondor Soldier, and what appears to be a Ranger. A small boat and some ruins. (US retail price announced at $40)
Witch King Showdown : Featuring the Witch King, Théoden, a Rider of Rohan (Éowyn?), a white horse, and a Nazgûl. Also included is a white horse and a Fell Beast . (US retail price announced at $60)
The Battle of Minas Tirith : The large set of the wave, featuring Gandalf, 2 Gondor Soldiers , 4 Orcs, a troll, and a Hobbit (Pippin?). Includes a catapult, a section of the citadel with the entrance gate, and a small house. (US retail price announced at $120)
This first list is obviously to be taken with a grain of salt, even if the whole thing seems completely coherent.
