Good news for those who have never been able to find the special 25th anniversary issue of the official LEGO Star Wars magazine on newsstands. This issue, accompanied by a Darth Vader minifigure and a collector's box, is currently available for sale on the publisher's website at a price of €8,99 excluding shipping costs, with a bill that rises to €10,98 including shipping upon arrival.
If you absolutely want to get one of the two collector's boxes, but you can't choose which one you'll receive, head over to abo-online.fr, the product is still in stock at the time of writing.
Quick reminder: for those who don't know yet, the official LEGO magazine is a free periodical created for children aged 5 to 9, sent to your home free of charge four times a year. In the pages of the different issues, you will find comics, puzzle games, construction challenges and inevitably a little advertising for the LEGO products of the moment, like the official licensed magazines that you also find on newsstands .
Parents and legal guardians with a LEGO account can subscribe their children aged 5 to 9, or subscribe themselves by making up children. You will receive the magazine until the child you registered turns 9 years old. If you receive more, it is time to invent another, younger child.
Note that this magazine changes its look and layout from the November 2024 issue and it will therefore become the "LEGO Magazine", the LIFE mention disappearing permanently. Those who are currently subscribing will automatically receive the new version of the magazine in November.
End of the suspense concerning the availability of the magazine accompanied by the Darth Vader minifig and the "collector" box promised at the beginning of June by the publisher Blue Ocean, this special 25th anniversary issue of the LEGO Star Wars range has been available since today and it is notably listed on journals.fr at a rate of 8,99 €.
Good luck finding a copy on newsstands, may luck be in your favor.
Group shot today around the three issues of the official LEGO Star Wars, Marvel Spider-Man and DC Batman magazines currently available on newsstands, all three accompanied by their respective bags and within which we discover the construction or the figurine which will accompany the next number.
The Star Wars version allows you to obtain a rather successful micro Imperial Shuttle of 46 pieces while the previous number of this magazine promised us a Darth Vader minifigure accompanied by a collector's box. Maybe it's me who's a little lost between all the versions of the magazine (plus, ultra, super, ultra-super-mega, etc...), but it seems to me that there was a small change not announced here.
Those who want to eventually reproduce this ship without spending the €6,99 requested by LEGO can do so using the instructions available at this address and using the code 912406. The next issue of the magazine is expected for July 31, 2024 and it will allow us to obtain a minifig of a Clone Specialist of the 501st as we all already have our drawers full thanks to the LEGO Star Wars set 75345 501st Clone Troopers Battle Pack, a small box of 119 pieces sold from 2023 at the public price of €19,99 and sold out since.
As for the official LEGO Marvel Avengers magazine, the publisher keeps its promises by associating a minifigure of Thor with his spongy cape with a hole, a version of the character which is also delivered in the LEGO Marvel Infinity Saga sets 76209 Thor's Hammer (2022) and LEGO Marvel 76248 The Avengers Quinjet (2023). The next issue of this magazine, under Marvel Spider-Man license due to the alternation installed this year, is scheduled for July 25, 2024 and will allow us to obtain a bag of 43 pieces with a Spider-Man figurine seen and reviewed accompanied for the occasion by a spider robot to build.
The official LEGO DC Batman magazine allows us, as expected, to obtain a classic Batman figurine perched on his robot armor for a bag which has a total of 56 pieces. If you want to assemble the robot to install one of your Gotham City vigilante minifigs, you can do so using the code 212401 at this address. The next issue will be available on newsstands on September 13, 2024 and will be accompanied by a not particularly inspired 49-piece Batcycle, without a minifigure.
The June 2024 issue of the official LEGO Marvel Spider-Man magazine is currently on newsstands at a price of €6.99 and as expected it allows you to obtain a Mysterio minifig identical to the one seen in the LEGO Marvel set 76178 Daily Bugle (349.99 €).
In the pages of this magazine, we discover the minifig which will accompany the next publication of the Marvel Spider-Man version of the magazine announced for June 20, 2024: it is Thor with his spongy cape, a version of the character which is also delivered in LEGO Marvel Infinity Saga sets 76209 Thor's Hammer (2022) and LEGO Marvel 76248 The Avengers Quinjet (2023)
