Here's information that will be of interest to anyone who receives the print version of LEGO Club Magazine, so far available in three separate editions based on the recipient's age and interests.
To put it simply: The Junior version of the magazine entitled Green Brick definitely disappears. Subscribers under the age of 4 will no longer receive anything.
The version Yellow Brick (Friends, Elves, Disney Princess, Ninjago, Minecraft) will evolve in the near future and subscribers aged 4 to 10 will automatically receive the new version of the magazine.
No change for the moment for the version Red brick (Ninjago, Star Wars, Nexo Knights, Super Heroes, Technic, Minecraft), subscribers aged 4-10 will continue to receive it as normal.
In the latest issue of the magazine, LEGO is also promoting the LEGO Life concept, a free application that will be launched in early 2017 on the iOS and Android platforms. More information at this address.
Finally, LEGO has put online the photo of the winners of the LEGO City Mega Pack containing 21 sets brought into play last March. For those interested, here is what this giant box of 5268 pieces looks like that some collectors would no doubt have liked to add to their inventory ...
The N ° 15 of the official LEGO Star Wars magazine is available and we discover the gift that will be offered next October with the N ° 16: This is an exclusive 45-piece MTT microphone rather nice with two Stud shooters en Reddish brown in the front.
We are therefore at 15 different sachets offered with this magazine sold 4.95 €. Nice bags with a metallic look, a lot of (sometimes vaguely) exclusive models, a few things a little missed, but overall it's pretty fair. Only regret, the total absence of minifig for the moment, not even a poor Stormtrooper ...
For those interested, you will find below, the assembly instructions of the AT-AT of 48 pieces offered this month (High resolution file available at my flickr gallery).
As we are a little bored at the moment with the absence of real information (confirmed) on the novelties to come, I take this opportunity to tell you that I have received my copies of the official LEGO Star Wars magazine N ° 14 d 'August and special edition N ° 1.
These two magazines come with two "exclusive" gifts. As indicated on the inside pages, it is possible to find several variations of the offered assortment.
N ° 14 includes the never-before-seen bag containing Yoda's hut and another of the three bags presented, all already supplied with previous issues of the magazine: The Millennium Falcon, the Naboo Starfighter or the Luke Landspeeder. For my part, I was entitled to the Naboo Starfighter.
The special N ° 1 comes with two bags among the four presented on the summary page: The X-Wing, the Slave I, The Imperial Shooter and the weapon rack. I got the Imperial Shooter and the X-Wing.
In short, nothing very exciting, while waiting the new AT-AT which will be provided with the next issue ...
The LEGO mini-set offered with issue 15 (September 2016) of the official LEGO Star Wars magazine is revealed: It will be a 48-piece AT-AT, which, unless I am mistaken, is new.
This will therefore be the 15th bag offered with this magazine intended for the youngest, with in the lot a few new models, a few uninteresting models and some rare good surprises.
In August, with number 14, we will have to be content with Yoda's micro-hut.
After a 26-piece Tie Bomber of no great interest delivered with the July issue (No.13) of the official LEGO Star Wars magazine, August promises to be (barely) more interesting with a micro "cabin" from Yoda offered with the N ° 14.
If I'm not mistaken, I can't find any trace of this cabin among the micro things delivered in the various LEGO Star Wars Advent calendars released so far. This model which roughly reproduces Yoda's hut on Dagobah is therefore truly exclusive to the magazine.
The n ° 13 of this magazine intended for the youngest is currently available on newsstands.
