SDCC 2014 Exclusive Batman of Zur-En-Arrh Minifigure

All you had to do was ask, here are the visuals of the exclusive DC Comics minifigure that will be distributed during Comic Con.

This version of Zur-En-Arrh is therefore identical to the one seen on the poster published a few months ago by LEGO.

The packaging is identical to that used in 2013 for the exclusive Green Arrow, Spider-Man, Spider-Woman and Superman (Black Suit) minifigs.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham

SDCC 2014 LEGO Exclusive Comic Book

One last word, before taking the plane tomorrow morning for San Diego, to let you know that LEGO will be offering on its stand on July 26 an exclusive comic designed by Paul Lee alias Polywen.

The artist, who draws most of the Super Heroes comics on behalf of LEGO and in particular those inserted in the sets of the range, brings in passing some details on his flickr gallery which will calm the enthusiasm of all those who see in these drawings of future minifigs: There are no clues in this board. The characters drawn here and which are not yet available in the LEGO inventory are only the figment of Paul Lee's imagination. Just like the Ventriloquist seen in a comic book available in PDF format on the LEGO Club website (To download here).

Below is Paul Lee's response to speculation about the upcoming DC Comics minifigs that would be previewed in this LEGO exclusive comic:

"... FYI, talk about rampant speculation! This is for a San Diego Comic-con Exclusive Comic give away. I will be signing them with the writer on Saturday, July 26th at the LEGO booth.

I have had no advanced knowledge of the minfig exclusives for Comic-con. The depictions of characters and choices of characters were entirely based on personal preference and aesthetics.

There is no factual reason to read any more into this. I drew that Cyborg because my kids like Teen Titans, GO! and I did that version of him. The Ventriloquist is a character in the comic. His design was designed by me and I would not think it would ever be produced. There some small liberties taken, as the game figs do not have a convenient attachment point and would sit too high ..."

High definition versions of these visuals can be found at Polywen's flickr gallery

SDCC 2014 LEGO Exclusive Minifigure: The Collector (The Guardians of the Galaxy)

Some information about the now traditional exclusive minifigs that will be distributed by lot during the next Comic Con: As in 2013, there will be four exclusive minifigs including the one above (The Collector, played on screen by Benicio Del Toro in Guardians of the Galaxy).

In addition to these minifigs and the set Rocket's Warbird announced yesterday, two other exclusive sets of 1000 copies each will be sold on the LEGO stand at a price of $ 39.99: A Batmobile (from the TV series dating from 1966 probably similar to the one present on this poster) and a Star Wars Rebels: The Ghost (see the visual on Hoth Bricks). 250 sets will go on sale every day.

I hope LEGO has retained lessons from last year's fiasco by setting up a fair distribution system for tickets, otherwise a riot is guaranteed ...

Update : One of the four exclusive minifgs will be based on the DC Comics universe, it will join The Collector, Bard the bowman and a minifig based on The LEGO Movie license.
