We get today via a New Zealand Certified Store the official visuals of the LEGO Super Mario set 71424 Donkey Kong's Tree House, one of the extensions based on the Donkey Kong universe that will complete the already very bulky playset made up of the boxes already marketed in this range.

In the box of 555 pieces, enough to assemble the extension of the game board and two of the characters revealed in the latest teaser: Donkey Kong and Cranky Kong.

This product being an extension, the digital features integrated into the playset will only be usable via one of the three interactive figurines of Mario, Luigi or Peach already available in the sets. 71360 Adventures with Mario, 71387 Adventures with Luigi ou 71403 Adventures with Peach, LEGO not having seen fit to offer us a Donkey Kong figurine with the same features.

Availability scheduled for August 1, 2023, the retail price in France should be €59.99. This product is not yet online on the official online store.

A little teasing never hurts, LEGO today unveils some of the characters that will accompany Donkey Kong in the sets planned to reinforce the already very prolific LEGO Super Mario range.

The latest rumors suggest a good half-dozen boxes (references 71420 to 71427) planned for summer 2023 in the LEGO Super Mario range and the teaser posted online today by LEGO confirms that Cranky Kong, Diddy Kong, Funky Kong and Dixie Kong will also be featured alongside Donkey Kong in several of these boxes, all in the form of buildable figures. I doubt that the five figures all come in the same set because of the mention "each set sold separately" present at the end of the teaser, but you never know...

LEGO today unveils a novelty that will join the LEGO Super Mario range from August 1, 2023: the reference 71423 Dry Bowser Castle Battle Expansion Set with its 1321 pieces and its public price announced at 104.99 €. Please note, this expansion requires at least one of the three interactive figurines currently available in the following packs in the range to take advantage of all the features promised: 71360 Adventures with Mario, 71387 Adventures with Luigi ou 71403 Adventures with Peach.

This product, which will allow you to obtain five characters to assemble, Bowser Skelet, an Avalave, a Piranh'os Plant, a Goomb'os and a Purple Toad, is already referenced on the official online store:

As a bonus, the manufacturer presents the Brick-built version of Donkey Kong which will also join the range next summer in at least one of the half-dozen boxes to come (references 71420 to 71427).

If you missed the first offer to get a copy of the LEGO set 40583 Houses of the World 1, here is a second chance: this promotional product is indeed offered again from 250 € of purchase without restriction of range on the official online store. The offer is for members of the VIP program and it is in principle valid until March 12, 2023.

Note that the title of the set 40583 Houses of the World 1 and the official description of the product confirm that this little box will one day be joined by others on the same theme bearing the references 40590, 40594 and 40599 respectively. These different dwellings can be combined together like a linear diorama with base of Modulars.
