The LEGO Technic Ultimate set 42172 McLaren P1 is now online on the official store and we therefore obtain confirmation of the product details: the model is on a scale of 1:8, it incorporates a 7-speed gearbox with selector drum, suspension, a V8 piston engine, an adjustable rear wing as well as elytron doors for a total inventory of 3893 parts. The vehicle measures on arrival 59 cm long by 25 cm wide and 14 cm high. Each set has its own unique serial number via an included pad-printed coin which will provide access to exclusive online content.
