Today we'll take a quick look at the contents of the LEGO The Legend of Zelda set. 77093 Ocarina of Time: The Final Battle, a box of 1003 pieces currently available for pre-order on the official online store at a public price of €119,99 and which will be available on March 1, 2026.
This is the second LEGO product directly based on this franchise after the LEGO The Legend of Zelda set 77092 Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 (€299,99) launched in September 2024, not counting the cartridge included in the LEGO Super Mario set 72046 Nintendo Game Boy (59,99 €).
As you probably already know, this merchandise is inspired by the final battle of the video game. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time released in 1998 on Nintendo 64. This new LEGO offering based on The Legend of Zelda license may seem less ambitious than the previous one, with a simple display platform to showcase the various protagonists of the fight.
However, the setting imagined by LEGO is quite faithful to what we see in the game, with a somewhat empty space, a rocky ground, and very symbolic ruins with slightly rough textures. I would have covered the ground with its visible studs with a few Tiles to smooth out the rendering a bit and improve the finish of the model, but as it stands, it all seems quite faithful to me.
As for built-in features, Ganondorf can be summoned from the ruins by pushing the visible protrusion at the back of the diorama, there are three hidden hearts of life beneath one of the removable panels, and the main ruin houses the Titan's Mace. No other surprises or details are included in this display item.
The whole thing visually gives the impression of being crammed into a small space measuring 29cm long by 18cm deep, and the readability of the scene, presented as a snapshot of the confrontation, is inevitably somewhat affected.
It's certainly a far cry from the vast, somewhat empty space seen in the game, but I understand the need to group all the notable elements into a reasonable space. Those nostalgic enough to remember the game might idealize its graphics, which were largely on par with what one could expect on a console in 1998, but it has inevitably aged poorly, and the diorama sold by LEGO ultimately only replicates the game's visual style from that era.
I have reservations about the Ganon figure, which is designed solely for display on the included base. The model's pose, with its fixed knees bent forward, is predetermined to fit into the two designated foot slots, and ultimately, only the creature's arms and head offer any real adjustment. The figure can be displayed on its own if you wish, but its stability becomes quite precarious, requiring you to find a balance point unless you use the creature's tail for support.
This is understandable, however, as it's purely a display piece, and the figure is somewhat fragile in places anyway. One could debate the level of detail, noting a few visually rough areas, but again, this is consistent with the crude polygons seen on screen. Two tires are placed on the ankles to add some volume to the ball joints; I'm not sure whether to hail this aesthetic choice as genius or ridicule it. There are no stickers in this box; all the patterned elements are pad-printed.
It's a shame about the piece of cloth placed on Ganon's back; a plastic element would have been appreciated, given that this is an exhibition model destined to end its career on a shelf corner.
The Triforce is depicted on the front of the diorama; fans of the franchise will undoubtedly be pleased, although LEGO could have strengthened the reference to the game with a... Tile for example, pad-printed with the game title. The assembly contains nothing particularly surprising except perhaps the inverted solution used to construct the ruin placed to the right of the diorama.
As for the included minifigures, the very well-done tampo prints of Ganondorf and Zelda are a highlight. The Link minifigure, equipped with the Hylian Shield and the Master Sword, is the same one already seen in the set. 77092 Great Deku Tree 2-in-1Fairy Navi logically boils down to a simple Dish pad printed.
In short, this product, tailor-made for shelf display, is, in my opinion, quite worthwhile if you keep in mind its direct reference. The construction matches the visual style of the video game released 28 years ago, the included minifigures offer two new ones, and the whole thing is, in my opinion, a beautiful tribute to the video game that captivated many fans for hours. For €120, it's hard to expect more from LEGO, and in my view, it's already very good.
Not every theme or license requires sets with thousands of pieces costing hundreds of euros. This set is a good compromise, which is great news for fans on a budget who often have to make choices.
Note: The product shown here, provided by LEGO, is as usual involved. Deadline fixed at 8th February 2026 at 23:59 p.m. Simply post a comment below the article to participate.

LEGO today unveils a second set based on The Legend of Zelda license with the reference 77093 Ocarina of Time: The Final Battle, a 1003-piece set inspired by the final battle of the video game The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
This box, which features the ruins of Ganondorf's castle and allows you to obtain minifigs of Link, Princess Zelda and Ganondorf as well as a figurine of the fairy Navi, is available for pre-order from today at the public price of €119,99 on the official online store with an announced availability for March 1, 2026.
LEGO has today released a teaser announcing a new LEGO ICONS The Legend of Zelda set for 2026 with a short scene in which there is no doubt that Link is preparing to face the demon Ganon.
This will therefore likely be a set based on the final battle of the video game. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time And the latest rumor announces reference 77093 with an inventory of 1003 pieces and a release in March 2026. To be confirmed when LEGO decides to unveil this product, which should logically not be long now.
This will be the second LEGO product based on this franchise, following the LEGO ICONS set. The Legend of Zelda 77092 Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 (€299,99) launched in September 2024.

Today we take a quick tour of the content of the LEGO ICONS set The Legend of Zelda 77092 Great Deku Tree 2-in-1, a box of 2500 pieces currently available for pre-order on the official store at the public price of €299,99 and which will be available from September 1, 2024.
As you already know, this is a product presented by LEGO as "2-in-1" with the possibility of building the Mojo tree of your choice in the version Ocarina of Time ou Breath of the Wild. I will come back to this detail later, there is a lot to say about this concept which may seem attractive on paper but which is much less so in reality.
The assembly of the product is shipped in less than 3h30 and still taking your time. Nothing complicated here, we build Link's house which will remain an independent module, we add Hestu with his maracas, we assemble the base in two sections, we install vegetation, we start building the tree trunk, we add the branches then the foliage and it's finished.
I won't spoil the assembly process of these different modules too much for you, it is important that those who spend €300 on this box keep the privilege of discovering the techniques used, in particular for the mechanism that sets the mouth and eyebrows of the tree in motion on version B.death of the wild, as well as references to the video games that LEGO has scattered throughout the product. I should point out that there are no stickers in this box, everything is pad printed.
The tree remains relatively crude upon arrival, in my opinion there is nothing to shout about in terms of the finishing of the place, especially if we look at the price asked by LEGO. We all know here that many fans would have happily settled for the four minifigs provided, the luxury display associated with them perhaps deserved a little more care to convince those who will have the impression of paying a high price for their figurines to go to the checkout.
Link's independent "house" doesn't add much to the whole, the foliage is generally very symbolic and lacks density in places, the tree itself is a bit messy with its coarse roots and its approximate adjustments in places, the surface of the base, covered with visible tenons, would in my opinion have deserved more Tiles to reinforce the qualitative side of the model and we are looking a little for the 2500 pieces announced and the justification of the 300 € spent on this construction of around thirty centimeters high.
I will be told that this is ultimately just a LEGO-style interpretation of the subject concerned, but I remain convinced that the finish of the set does not live up to the manufacturer's claims, who identifies this product as a high-end set for adults right from the packaging. Too many large pieces for the tree, whose facial expression is nevertheless acceptable, not enough greenery for my taste.
I have read many reviews of this product already posted here and there, the ambient enthusiasm makes me wonder if I am not ultimately too demanding. We are still talking about a high-end set with the 18+ label and intended for an audience that can afford a derivative product of this caliber, LEGO nevertheless knows how to offer us more accomplished and less expensive constructions in other universes or ranges and this product does not seem to me to be up to par. It is very personal, everyone will have an opinion on the matter.
The tree does indeed take on the main attributes of its digital version but in my opinion it is much too caricatured to make this construction anything other than a luxury playset for spoiled children despite the plethora of references and other winks which are fortunately present to satisfy the most demanding fans of the license.
The Korogus are there, Hestu is an acceptable brick assembly, the mushrooms of the Spore Store are there, the bed on which Link can regain his strength too. The designer has done his homework and the fan service is brilliantly provided.
It should also be noted that both variants are designed to be displayed from the front, with the back of the main construction benefiting from a more than basic finish.
To return to the 2-in-1 concept promised by LEGO on the packaging of the set, you have to choose between the two versions provided after having assembled the part common to both proposals: the one inspired by the video game Ocarina of Time released in 1998 on Nintendo 64 or that of the game Breath of the Wild released in 2017 on Nintendo Switch. It is obviously a question here of making the big gap between all generations of fans by trying to please everyone.
The idea is relevant if we admit that the initial choice will seal the fate of the set: it will then be really very laborious to try to assemble the other variant, LEGO having not really designed this product as an easy construction to modify to switch from one version to another. The disassembly necessary to return to the "fork" which occurs very early in the instruction booklet (page 156 of 414) is not documented and the exercise promises to be laborious.
And that's without taking into account the fact that even if the subject matter is the same for both variants, there are still too many unused parts, three complete bags in the case of the version Breath of the Wild that I put together. Considering that this product is sold for €300, it would have been nice if the entire inventory had been used optimally in both cases, just to feel like you were really taking advantage of all the plastic you paid for at full price.
Worse, I read here and there that the most motivated fans would almost be forced to buy two copies of the product to take advantage of the two variants offered. However, I am not sure that those who will spend €600 to get two trees, a very large handful of unused parts and all the duplicate minifigs are currently jostling to validate their pre-orders.
I don't think that LEGO is trying to sell us twice as many boxes through any kind of marketing manipulation, in my opinion it's just a matter of ensuring, in a somewhat clumsy and probably somewhat sloppy way, that all generations will pay for the same product by promising to satisfy everyone.
Regarding the four figurines provided, it is very well executed with a wealth of very well done pad printing, two-color injected parts and new molds even if we have to make do with a single version of Princess Zelda and accumulate three variants of Link.
The wink to Ocarina of Time with both playable versions of the character will probably be appreciated even if the figurines are a bit redundant. The versions Breath of the Wild Link and Zelda are simply magnificent, LEGO has mastered its subject to perfection here. Overall, the pad printing is successful, the accessories are numerous and LEGO does not disappoint on this part of the product, including a magnificent Hylian shield and the legendary sword.
It's a shame that these few figurines are only accessible through the purchase of such an expensive box, many fans will undoubtedly remain on the sidelines, especially among the youngest who were probably hoping to be able to get their hands on these minifigs at a lower cost.
I am old enough to have played the game Ocarina of Time on Nintendo 64 and I have fond memories of it. I later quickly skimmed Breath of the Wild, just to check if the magic of my youth was still working, it was less obvious but the pleasure was still there. However, I don't see myself spending €300 today on a derivative product that only really tempts me because of the minifigs and accessories it offers.
The tree doesn't seem convincing enough to me to justify the expense, but it will obviously be up to each person to decide whether this box deserves the honors of their wallet. I'm not saying that I won't crack if one day this box benefits from a significant reduction in its usual price, but I'm not one of those who will be going to the checkout on September 1st.
