LEGO is today teasing the planned collaboration with Epic Games within the game FORTNITE, it should be a game mode present during the final event entitled Big Bang which will begin on December 2 at 20:00 p.m. and the brick llama appears now on the background visual of the game lobby.
We do not know at the moment whether “physical” products will be offered alongside this virtual collaboration; we will have to wait until LEGO decides to communicate a little more on the subject.
We have also known since the announcement of their collaboration in 2022 that LEGO and Epic Games should create a joint project constituting "an immersive, creative and engaging digital experience for kids of all ages within the metaverse". We currently do not know much more about this initiative which will undoubtedly result in a persistent digital universe targeting children, except that it should allow the youngest to evolve in a highly moderated and secure context. .
