Onward to a very large handful of new products which are now available on the official store with many ranges affected by this spring launch.
As is often the case, there are some nice things in this wave, but the majority of these boxes will be available quickly for much less expensive elsewhere. As usual, it is therefore up to you to decide whether you should go ahead and pay the full price for these boxes or whether you should show a little patience and wait for the inevitable reductions that will be offered in the weeks and months to come at Amazon, on FNAC.com, at Cdiscount, at Auchan and at a few other resellers.

Today we are quickly interested in the content of the LEGO Marvel set 76279 Spider-Man Race Car & Venom Green Goblin, a small box of 227 pieces sold at the public price of €29.99 on the official online store. Not enough to get up at night with this little set without great pretensions but there is still plenty of fun to be had with three characters all equipped with their means of transport.
Spider-Man here inherits a car which is not of much use to him because he has more than enough means to avoid traffic jams, but the car is successful with an aggressive side, room for two characters inside. interior and two Stud Shooters rather well integrated at the front. It's colorful, it's pad printed and it rolls.
The Green Goblin has his glider in a black variant, and for good reason the character is "venomized" here and his means of movement is therefore logically matched to the figurine provided. It's a success, we find all the codes of "venomization" in the LEGO way and this version of the glider will do the trick. Gwen Stacy aka Ghost-Spider is content with a modest skateboard but it is sufficient and appropriate.
In terms of the construction experience offered, we can therefore conclude that it is rather very good knowing that we obtain as a bonus a canvas already seen in the set 76261 Spider-Man Final Battle which allows you to trap a figurine and hold it at arm's length. Practical for installing Green Goblin.
Fans of new parts or new colors available for the first time will have on hand here a matte blue windshield as well as a transparent windshield in dark Blue which we will undoubtedly see elsewhere later. We will also note the presence of the banana also delivered in the LEGO Marvel sets 76275 Motorcycle Chase: Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock (€9.99) and LEGO Friends 42604 Heartlake City Shopping Mall (119.99 €).
As for the three figurines provided in this box, that of Spider-Man with his pad-printed arms is also delivered in around ten boxes since 2021, that of Gwen Stacy was also in the sets 76178 Daily Bugle et 76174 Spider-Man's Monster Truck vs. Mysterio and only Green Goblin remains here "venomized" to expand the collection of the most dedicated fans.
The minifigure is nicely executed, the partially and totally venomized double face is perfect and the torso also seems very convincing to me. It's meager as it stands for a set sold for €30 but those, if any, who don't have Spider-Man or Gwen Stacy in this form will perhaps find what they're looking for. We can also consider "sharing" the product, with the youngest inheriting the more common minifigs and the family collector stealing and replacing Green Goblin with a less desirable version.
This is obviously not the set of the year, but I find that there is still something in this box to have fun if you are old enough to invent a few chase stories between superheroes and the vehicle construction sequence remains interesting. It's up to you.

Today we take a very quick tour of the content of the LEGO Marvel set 76276 Venom Mech Armor vs. Miles Morales, a small box of 134 pieces currently available at the public price of €14.99. As you can imagine, there is nothing to complain about about this small set without any great pretensions, this product is obviously aimed at a very young audience fond of various and varied mechs and minifigs.
LEGO here only completes a collection of exoskeletons which seems to please the target audience and it is therefore Venom's turn to have the honors of the concept.
We can imagine that the variation of the character in mech is almost appropriate here, we obtain a set which certainly has a very "robotic" appearance but which can also embody an oversized version of Venom if we forget that the head of the minifig which protrudes from the command post is no longer in scale with the rest.
You will have guessed it by looking at the photos which illustrate this article, the mobility of the mech is very limited, it is made up of elements which allow only few combinations and range of movement at the elbows and knees. However, it is more than enough to have a little fun, there are still some interesting fun possibilities and the children should find what they are looking for.
No stickers in this box, the only element with a pattern is pad-printed and, as is often the case, it suffers from a slightly disappointing color difference with a white pattern which is not really white because it is printed on a black background. This technical solution remains preferable to the presence of a sticker which in all cases would have difficulty resisting repeated handling of the mech.
As for the two figurines provided, nothing new or exclusive to this little box, whether on the side of Venom or Miles Morales. The elements that make up these two figurines are available in several other sets already on the market and we can console ourselves by saying that this product is an opportunity to obtain them at a relatively reasonable price.
In short, this small, unpretentious box will easily find its audience, it is aimed at the youngest fans who are looking for a fun aspect to these products derived from universes that they like, such as for example the Spider-Man 2 video game which features a clash between Miles Morales and Venom, and the public price of the product makes it a gift to give for a birthday or a good report card.

The February 2024 issue of the official LEGO Marvel Spider-Man magazine is currently on newsstands at the price of €6.99 and as expected it allows you to obtain a minifig of Doctor Octopus, delivered for the occasion with his tentacles to assemble using of the inventory provided. For the rest, the figurine was already delivered identically in the LEGO Marvel set 76174 Spider-Man's Monster Truck vs. Mysterio, 76198 Spider-Man & Doctor Octopus Mech Battle et 76178 Daily Bugle.
In the pages of this magazine, we discover the minifig which will accompany the next publication of the Marvel Avengers version of the magazine announced for February 22, 2024: it is War Machine with his equipment to assemble including a Stud Shooter on the shoulder, the figure itself also comes in LEGO Marvel sets 76216 Iron Man Armory et 76269 Avengers Tower.
Onwards to the effective availability of some new LEGO products on the official online store with several boxes which should easily find the public and some licensed BrickHeadz figurines which could possibly be used to complete an order.
There are some nice things in this little wave of new releases, but the majority of these boxes will be available quickly for much less expensive elsewhere. As usual, it's up to you to decide whether you should go for it without delay and pay full price for these boxes or whether you should show a little patience and wait for the inevitable reductions that will be offered in the weeks and months to come at Amazon, on FNAC.com, at Cdiscount, at Auchan as well as some other retailers.
