SDCC 2014 LEGO Exclusive Minifigure: The Collector (The Guardians of the Galaxy)

Some information about the now traditional exclusive minifigs that will be distributed by lot during the next Comic Con: As in 2013, there will be four exclusive minifigs including the one above (The Collector, played on screen by Benicio Del Toro in Guardians of the Galaxy).

In addition to these minifigs and the set Rocket's Warbird announced yesterday, two other exclusive sets of 1000 copies each will be sold on the LEGO stand at a price of $ 39.99: A Batmobile (from the TV series dating from 1966 probably similar to the one present on this poster) and a Star Wars Rebels: The Ghost (see the visual on Hoth Bricks). 250 sets will go on sale every day.

I hope LEGO has retained lessons from last year's fiasco by setting up a fair distribution system for tickets, otherwise a riot is guaranteed ...

Update : One of the four exclusive minifgs will be based on the DC Comics universe, it will join The Collector, Bard the bowman and a minifig based on The LEGO Movie license.

Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors

The new season of the animated series Ultimate Spider-ManEntitled Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors, whose first episode will be broadcast in the USA on the Disney XD channel on August 31, is good news ...

LEGO has already based several sets from the Marvel Super Heroes range on the Ultimate Spider-Man animated series (76004 Spider Cycle Chase  et 76005 Daily Bugle Showdown in 2013, 76014 Spider-Trike vs. Electro, 76015 Doc Ock: Truck Heist, 76016 Spider-Helicopter Rescue in 2014) and this new series promises us many new characters, which could be the occasion to obtain some additional minifigs from this universe.

We will indeed find in this new season the usual accomplices of Spider-Man: Stan the Janitor, Agent Coulson, Jonah Jameson, Nova, Iron Fist, Power Man or White Tiger, but other characters will appear with among others Miles Morales, Iron Spider, Agent Venom, Cloak & Dagger or Ka-Zar. Not to mention the variants of the Spider-Man costume which will begin this third season in a new outfit and which will even join the Avengers team.

What good is the program if LEGO persists in wanting to release a few boxes based on this animated series. Wait and see ...

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes

We talk briefly about the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game, with a tweet from the official account Lego marvel which implies that a version for smartphones and tablets could possibly see the light of day by this summer.

This is very good news, if this barely disguised implication soon turns into an announcement.

If the mobile version of this LEGO game is up to the other ports of the genre, it will allow us to redo a few levels while waiting for our turn to the dentist ...
