76014 Spider-Trike vs. Electro

View for sale on eBay, Electro minifig from the LEGO Marvel set 76014 Spider-Trike vs. Electro that we have already discovered on the official visuals.

We can see better in these images the head and the translucent polycarbonate arms of the minifigure.

I would have preferred the whole minifig to be polycarbonate, but LEGO apparently does not use configurations where polycarbonate parts are connected together due to the very high coefficient of friction of this material which makes it difficult to take two parts apart.

This would explain, apart from any artistic choice, that the minifigure is in ABS plastic for the torso and legs and in polycarbonate for the arms and head.

The design of the minifig is directly inspired by the Ultimate version of the character as he appears in the animated series Ultimate Spider-Man.

Here are finally the official visuals of the four LEGO Marvel sets expected in 2014 put online by just2good on Eurobricks, probably courtesy of LEGO who still prefers to provide official visuals rather than letting fans extrapolate their conclusions from poor quality scans or photos: 76014 Spider-Trike vs. Electro76015 Dock Ock Truck Heist76016 Spider-Helicopter Rescue76017 Captain America vs. HYDRA et 76018 Hulk Lab Smash.

This one-page scan of the new 2014 catalog presents the various LEGO Marvel novelties expected for the first quarter.

No more speculation, we discover the 5 Marvel sets we have been talking about for weeks: 76014 Spider-Trike vs. Electro, 76015 Dock Ock Truck Heist (These two sets are reversed on the visual), 76016 Spider-Helicopter Rescue, 76017 Captain America vs. HYDRA et 76018 Hulk Lab Smash.

As for the minifigs, no surprises, the characters announced are all there:

76014: Spider-Man, Electro.
76015: Spider-Man, Doc Ock, Truck Driver.
76016: Spider-Man, Green Goblin, Mary Jane, Power Man.
76017: Captain America (Error in the label of the minifig on the page), Red Skull, Hydra Henchman.
76018: Hulk, Falcon, Thor, Taskmaster, MODOK.

The high resolution visual is available on my flickr gallery.

LEGO Marvel: Mary Jane and Powerman on eBay

The photos are bad, but since that's all we have right now, we're happy with it: eBay seller way ahead of its time released two minifigs from the LEGO marvel Super Heroes sets in 2014.

On the left, Mary Jane in a version very close to the one seen in the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game and which will be delivered in the set 76016 Rescue of the Spider-Heli (A visual of the box is online on pricevortex.com).

On the right, Power Man (Luke Cage), also faithful to his virtual representation, which will be delivered in the same set.

The seller has obviously reversed the legs of the two minifigs based on the virtual versions.

If you can't wait to get them, eBay is where it's at (Click here).

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes character cards LEGO Marvel Super Heroes character cards LEGO Marvel Super Heroes character cards

If you are on facebook and you "like" the dedicated page (UK version) at the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes game, you have noticed that the buzz is not about to fall with this new initiative of the community managers.

Cards of the characters in the game, of which I gave you three examples above, will be published regularly, but on one condition: Each card must be shared at least 50 times for the next to be revealed.

There are a total of 21 cards to discover before a "huge"lot is put into play on the facebook page (A Hulk maxifig?).

No indication of what it really is, and I think the draw will be for UK fans anyway ...

In the meantime, you can still take advantage of these "Character Cards", that will occupy you five minutes.
