The manufacturer had attempted a happening during the online convention LEGO CON 2022 by revealing only three of the 12 characters of the next series of minifigs in collectible bags (71034 Collectible Minifigure Series 23) but he quickly sabotaged the operation by immediately uploading a visual that featured the entire cast. The product sheet has since been updated on the official store with a visual that presents the different characters in costumes that will form this 23rd series of minifigs.

The other interesting detail: this series of minifigs will be delivered in the usual bags which allow manipulation to guess the contents of the packaging and complete a series at a lower cost without having to buy blind. It is known that the eight characters of the fifth LEGO Super Mario series (71410 Character Series Pack #5) will be delivered in a cardboard packaging that will deprive fans of their usual "groping" session, so this will not be the case for this time concerning collectible minifigs.

We will talk again very soon about the upcoming transition to rigid packaging which will make it more difficult for anyone who has become accustomed to the shelves of their favorite toy store, it will take place and I have had the opportunity to learn about it a little more on the occasion of a conference organized by the manufacturer.

We now know three of the 12 characters that will make up the next series of collectible bag characters (ref. Lego 71034): a guy disguised as a boat captain and two female characters disguised, one as a reindeer and the other as a robot. The nine other characters who will complete the inventory should be revealed soon.

Availability scheduled for September 1, 2022, €3.99 per bag if LEGO does not increase the unit price of these minifigs by then.

Update : the complete series is revealed by LEGO on the online space dedicated to LEGO CON 2022. We therefore obtain the following 12 characters: Nutcracker (nutcracker), Sugar Fairy (the sugar plum fairy), Green Dragon Costume (the costume of green dragon), Snowman (the snowman), Reindeer Costume (the renno costume), Christmas Elf (the holiday elf), Turkey Costume (the turkey costume), Cardboard Robot (the cardboard robot), Popcorn Costume (the popcorn costume), Wolf Costume (the wolf costume), Ferry Captain (the captain of the ferry) and Knight of the Yellow Castle (the knight of the yellow castle).

For those who are interested, know that LEGO markets the 12 collectible minifigs in bags under The Muppets license (ref. 71033) individually at the public price of 3.99 € but also in packs of six sachets (ref. 71035) at the price of 23.99 €.

Attention, these boxes which contain six characters are filled randomly and there is no possibility to choose their contents nor guarantee to obtain six different minifigs per box.

As usual, the pack is already out of stock on the official online store but Amazon also lists this packaging at a price of €22.41 or €3.74 per bag.

For its part, the Irish brand Minifigure Madness now offers a pre-order of a set of two boxes of 36 sachets at the price of 234 € or 3.25 € per sachet instead of 3.99 €. We do not yet know the exact distribution of the boxes, difficult to know for the moment if a box of 36 sachets makes it possible to obtain three complete series of 12 characters.
