I'm not keen on Chinese culture to the point of hoarding all the New Year-themed products, so I'll skip the parade. The set with the two decorative constructions tempts me a little more and I must admit that the mech Monkie Kid also pleases me enormously. For lack of Grendizer in LEGO version, he will do the trick in the meantime. It is also in my opinion more successful than that of the set 80012 Monkey King Warrior Mech (1629 pieces - 129.99 €) and I will easily find a place for it on my shelves.

The prices of the two Lunar New Year 2023 sets are finally a little lower than those initially indicated by various sources:

LEGO benefits from the 5th edition of the China International Import Expo (CIEE) which is currently taking place in Shanghai to unveil some of the novelties expected from the end of the year. On the program two sets celebrating the Chinese New Year, a DUPLO reference which will allow the youngest to discover the traditions concerned, a set which features the money tree (a traditional lucky charm) and a new mech in the universe Monkie Kid.

LEGO today announces the reboot of its LEGO Friends range launched ten years ago.
