Notice to all those who like books that talk about LEGO and which are accompanied by a handful of bricks: the very prolific publisher DK (Dorling Kindersley for friends) offers a book on the theme of the end of the year celebrations which will be available in two versions so as not to offend anyone.
It is obviously the same 80-page book, the same polybag bearing the reference 11984, the content of which is visible via the online files on certification service LEGO and the same editorial content that promises fifty game ideas, challenges and festive puzzles. The micro visual present in the certificate put online by LEGO only confirms that it will be at least possible to assemble the few micro-things visible on the cover of the book, namely the tree, the snowman, the hoop game and the gifts.
Release announced for September or October 2023 depending on the version concerned, pre-orders are already open at Amazon:
The LEGO Christmas Games Book: 55 Festive Braintea
The LEGO Holiday Games Book: 55 Festive Braintease
We continue today with a competition whose endowment brings together two sets that I find rather successful: the references 76223 Nano Gauntlet (69.99 €) and 76247 The Hulkbuster: The Battle of Wakanda (49.99 €).
To validate your participation and try to add this set of two boxes to your collection at a lower cost, simply identify yourself via the interface below and follow the instructions provided. As usual, it is a question of finding information on the official online store and then answering the question correctly. At the end of the participation phase, the winner will be chosen by lot from the correct answers. Participation is free and without obligation to purchase.
Your contact details (name / nickname, email address, IP) are only used within the framework of this competition and will not be kept beyond the drawing of lots which will designate the winner. As usual, this no-obligation competition is open to all residents of mainland France, DOM & TOM, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland.
The batch of sets is as usual generously provided by LEGO, it will be sent to the winner by me as soon as his contact details are confirmed by return email.
As always, I reserve the right to disqualify any participant who has attempted to defraud or hijack the entry system in order to increase their chances of winning. Hateful and bad losers to abstain, the others will have more chances to win.
Good luck to everyone !
No participation via comments, I leave the form open as long as the contestants who cannot read are not yet there. Then we close.
For information: the name / nickname of the winner is displayed in the participation interface once the draw has been made. I also notify the winners by email, but remember to check anyway.
LEGO just announced the result of the second phase of LEGO Ideas evaluation for the year 2022, with a batch that brought together 51 more or less successful ideas but which had all been able to gather the 10.000 supports necessary for their passage to the review stage.
Two projects are definitively validated:
Everything else falls by the wayside without momentum and the creators of these various projects will have to settle for the "consolation" endowment consisting of LEGO products with a total value of $500 offered to all those who reach 10.000 supporters.
While waiting to learn more about these two products that will soon join the LEGO Ideas range, you can always try to guess who will emerge victorious from the next review phase, the results of which will be unveiled this summer. 36 ideas were present at the start but only 35 remain, the one inspired by the film The Neverending Story (Neverending story) having been withdrawn following a request from the rights holders.
LEGO changes its mind and today modifies the conditions of the promotional offer which will allow you to obtain a copy of the LEGO CITY set from February 10 to 20, 2023 40582 4x4 Off-Road Ambulance Rescue : It will be necessary to spend at least 100 € on the official online store for this small box of 162 pieces to be automatically added to the basket but it will be without range restriction whereas LEGO had initially limited this offer to the LEGO CITY range.
Good news for all those who wanted to take advantage of the doubling of VIP points scheduled from February 10 to 16, 2023 to treat themselves to a few sets and get this box along the way.
LEGO today officially unveils the ICONS set 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell, a box stamped ICONS which will be available at the retail price of €499.99 in a VIP preview from March 5, 2023 before global availability scheduled for March 8.
In the box, 6167 pieces to assemble Imladris (or Rivendell or Rivendell or Fendeval) and 15 minifigs: Gandalf le Gris, Frodo Baggins, Samwise Gamgee, Merriadoc “Merry” brandybuck, Peregrine“Pippin” Tooke, Legolas, Gimli, Gloin, Boromir, Aragorn, Elrond, Peredhel, Arwen, Bilbo Baggins and some generic elves.
As you can see from the visuals, the 72cm long and 39cm high construction is divided into three sections: the tower, the Council table and the Gazebo with the Bruinen river and the bridge. The construction is obviously more ambitious than that of the set 79006 Council of Elrond marketed in 2014.
Members of the VIP program who acquire this big box when it launches will also receive a copy of the LEGO BrickHeadz The Lord of the Rings set. 40630 Frodo & Gollum (184 pieces - 14.99 €) which I spoke to you about recently to thank them for their selflessness. The offer will be valid until March 7, 2023.
We will quickly talk in more detail about the contents of this big box.
