LEGO today unveils a new product which is available for pre-order from today on the official online store and will be available from October 1, 2026: the 40865 Buddy the Elf set with its inventory of 713 pieces and its public price set at €39,99.
Inside the box, you'll find everything you need to assemble a figurine loosely inspired by the character from the 2003 film Elf , starring Will Ferrell. It was a simple, unpretentious Christmas comedy aimed at children. While the film didn't exactly make cinematic history, it has nonetheless achieved a kind of immortality in LEGO form.
For around forty euros, you get an effective and relatively affordable decoration for the holiday season. Nothing more, nothing less.
