LEGO today unveils a new addition to the LEGO IDEAS range, available for pre-order starting today: the set 21367 Tintin Moon Rocket with its 1283 pieces which will allow you to assemble the famous rocket, its six characters and its public price set at €159,99.
This official product is inspired by the idea entitled Tintin – Space Rocket Submitted at the time by Alexis Dos Santos aka tkel86 and definitively validated by LEGO in June 2025 after gathering the 10.000 supporters necessary to move to the review phase and being placed in the waiting phase on the Parking Lot March 2025.
The official and final version of the idea retains only the rocket and omits the launch pad proposed by the fan designer. In return, you get a handful of figurines in astronaut suits: Tintin, Snowy, Captain Haddock, Professor Calculus, and Thomson and Thompson.
The outfits are faithful to those seen in the album. On a market on the Moon And LEGO could have added Jorgen (Colonel Boris) hidden in the rocket; it would have fit within the budget. In both cases, the famous blue Jeep that appears on the album cover... Destination Moon It's not part of the project. Yet, in my opinion, it was an opportunity to expand this set, which sells for €160.
It's a lovely decoration lifestyle sold at a high price for fans, even though it is generally very successful and the rocket will easily find its place on a library full of Tintin adventure albums.
Regarding the price of this box, it is important to consider the price applied to this 49 cm tall rocket: the 30cm resin model The top-selling item on the official license website is listed at €149. the one that is 60 cm high is listed at €650 and the one that is 90 cm high It is sold there for €1250.
