We all know that many collectors don't care about the bricks included in some sets and are content to collect the minifigures, neatly arranging them in their display frames. The LEGO Super Mario range and its new minifigures will be no exception to this trend, and many fans will undoubtedly only seek to obtain the minifigures and other figures included in the new releases of January 2027.
If we remove all the brick-based elements, including the few buildable characters, only a handful of figures remain in the eight revealed boxes: Mario (included in two identical sets), Fire Mario, Luigi, Fire Luigi, Peach, Toad, Yoshi, a handful of Goombas, a Koopa Troopa (included in two boxes), Bowser Jr., and Bowser (included in two sets). Several Mario variants are included, with a "Beach Mario" figure and a different face in one of the boxes.
Collecting all the announced sets and assembling the complete cast will cost a little over €300. However, it will be possible to save €9,99 by skipping set 72052 Mario's Pipe Jump , as the Mario figure and Goomba are available identically in other sets.
