Some will start to think that I am slanderous, but today I surely have a good alibi. The box of the day of the Advent Calendar reveals a magnificent, what am I saying, sublime droid type MSE-6, also known by the nickname of mouse droid.
If you have the sets 6211 Imperial Star Destroyer ou 10188 Death Star, you know this little robot.
Used primarily as a repair or cleaning droid on both Death stars, or on board Star destroyers, this small shapeless robot sometimes used on certain outposts near the battlefields had the particularity of being able to self-destruct if captured.
Well, mythology aside, this thing is just a vacuum cleaner that rushes through the halls of the Death Star and does not deserve to be given a box.
We will therefore quickly put away these few pieces and we will move on to something else, hoping that tomorrow we will not be entitled to a box of the same ilk ...
This image confirms what I've been thinking for a while : The Y-Wing of this set 9495 Gold Leader's Y-Wing Starfighter is definitely very successful.
It is very faithful to the studio model in its overall forms and more particularly in the cockpit.
We get a good set well in the spirit of the Original Trilogy. Some stickers will probably be available on the ship's boosters. The minifigs are interesting, and Leia in outfit Celebration is a real plus.

FBTB seems to have regained a taste for its original vocation, to offer us real news and real reviews with a little less advertising. Here is a new review, that of the set 6863 Batwing Battle Over Gotham City.
And it confirms what we could fear from this set: The Batwing is very basic, without any real relief, or landing gear for that matter ... The Joker's helicopter saves the set with a pretty, very cartoon design.
On the minifig side, it's the minimum union: Another Batman, a Joker and a superbly silkscreened henchman or henchman which almost becomes the centerpiece for those who already have several versions of the other two minifigs ....
I still note once again the effort made by LEGO to ensure playability for the whole: a hero, a super villain, two flying machines and a few hours of aerial battle in perspective for the youngest. Without forgetting the usual, legendary and yet superfluous flick fire missiles...
Quickly make your own idea on this set with the review of this set at FBTB or with the image gallery on flickr.
Some close-ups on the content of the set 9490 Droid Escape which is worth all the same more by the new minifigs that it contains than by the capsule itself.
However, it is well designed and very detailed. It can easily accommodate C-3PO and R2-D2, and completes a set that offers new unpublished minifigs: a C-3PO with a new and original screen printing and two Sandtroopers also equipped with a beautiful very detailed screen print. Without doubt my favorite set for early 2012.
