shopathomeIt is confirmed, the promotion of May 3 and 4, 2011 will be valid for us in France.

As can be seen from the screenshot of the LEGO site, information that you can also check at this address: http://shop.lego.com/promotion/Default.aspx?SW2011.

Nothing specific for now, but the Shadow ARF Trooper will be there, as the visual confirms. The poster should also be included with every order.

It would also seem that special offers on certain Star Wars sets will be offered .....

Anyway, I'm happy to see the promotion this time around worldwide. So save your money and be in front of your screens on May 2, 2011 at midnight, the night promises to be scorching ....

legoland nearCopMike currently offers several photo reports of scenes from Star Wars Miniland from LEGOLAND Park in Billund (In principle, these reconstructions are identical in all LEGOLAND parks on the planet).
The photos presented allow you to discover in detail the different machines and characters created for these giant dioramas.
Several of these scenes out of the seven offered to the public have been presented for the moment on Eurobricks by CopMike (LEGO Ambassador in his state), and I have grouped the photos in dedicated pages accessible from the right menu under the LEGOLAND logo.
Take a few moments to admire these unique creations, which, if they will make the most fundamentalist MOCeurs bitch, are still ultra-detailed given the scale and are intended to be contemplated from a certain distance during the visit of the park. .

lucas minifig.... Everyone of course. But let's not dream, this minifigure is not available. However this is not a montage made by a fan, but a unique minifigure presented during Star Wars Weekend in 2009.

An AFOL was able to obtain this minifigure, and if its intervention on this subject on various forums aroused some suspicion, the photos posted quickly removed the doubt (See this topic on FBTB).

This minifigure is also featured in the book LEGO Star Wars: The Visual Dictionary at the bottom right of the Chapter 4: Beyond The brick introductory page.

Many fans have risked representing Georges Lucas using elements from different sets marketed, with varying degrees of success, here are a few examples below:

It is therefore possible to recreate (or almost ...) this minifigure by purchasing a few separate elements on BrickLink:

The legs are available here in Sand Blue: Sand Blue Hips and Legs .

The torso is available here: Torso Studios Plaid Button Shirt Pattern (Werewolf before change) / Dark Blue Arms / Yellow Hands .

The hands in Light Flesh are available here: Light Flesh Hand .

The hair is available here in Light Bluish Gray: Headgear Hair Wavy .

The clapperboard is available here (from the 1349 LEGO Studios Steven Spielberg MovieMaker Set): Black Tile 2 x 2 with Scene 3 and White Stripes Pattern .

The head as presented on the visual is unique, it has never been mass produced, nor distributed in an official set.
Several heads can do the trick for lack of a better one, here are a few on Bricklink:

A version in Light Flesh with white pupils:Minifig, Head Beard with SW Gray Beard and Eyebrows, Lines under Eyes, Furrowed Brow, White Pupils Pattern .

A version in Light Flesh without white pupils: Minifig, Head Beard with SW Gray Beard and Eyebrows, Lines under Eyes, Furrowed Brow Pattern .

A version in Yellow: Minifig, Head Glasses with Gray Eyebrows, Beard and Mustache Pattern - In this case, you also need the hands in Yellow: Yellow hand .

There are dozens of versions of Light Flesh heads with beard and mustache collar on Bricklink, it's up to you to find the one that looks the most like you .....

In desperation, you can always seek to acquire a custom minifigure on eBay...

advent calendar 2011We know a little more about the next set 7958 Star Wars Advent Calendar with this visual of the content.

Lots of more or less successful micro gear, even if we must recognize that with this format it is difficult to offer something serious (Although, Mini LEGOManiac gets there, him ....).
Side minifigs, nothing exciting either, if not the awful Yoda in Santa Claus outfit .....

In short, a set that respects the codes of the LEGO advent calendars: barely passable microphones and a few minifigs to get over the price pill (24.90 € or 29.90 € a priori).

Note that this set will undoubtedly be quickly unobtainable in MISB and that collectors / speculators will not fail to stock a few copies for their old age.

9901 0000 XX 12 1 To cut short the rumor that has just made the whole web in a few hours, this image from the LEGO cache and bearing the reference 9901 is NOT the image of an upcoming set as some have suggested.
This is actually the visual used by LEGO on many versions of the Store Calendar, especially those of May 2009, July 2009, September 2009 or even October 2010.... to present an event taking place in different LEGO Stores: The LEGO YODA Master Builder Event, of which here is a picture below.

In short, another unfounded rumor based on a visual found in the cache .... Really, the community has not finished getting carried away and maintaining the buzz around the potential "leaks" at TLC .... Uh, I have probably just kept the buzz going with this post.

The circle is complete.....
