The LEGO Club offers you to build an alternative model, the T-11 Jedi Striker using the parts of the set 7931 T-6 Jedi Shuttle.

For the background of the story, it is a machine designed by the jedi Saesee Tiin with parts of a damaged T-6 Jedi Shuttle.

For the occasion, this alternative model is much more interesting and more aesthetic than that of the original set. 

This explains, with all the bad faith that I can show on the subject (I do not particularly like the 7931 set) probably the eagerness of LEGO to offer it to all those who, disappointed by the set 7931, the had already stored at the bottom of a cupboard or in their bulk bin for MOCs ....

SandCrawler's project in UCS format (Or even bigger and more detailed) is making great strides, with this new photo (Click for a larger view).

This well-known MOCeur is not at its first attempt in terms of ambitious MOCs, which you can discover in his flickr gallery.

After having developed the motorized tracks of the SandCrawler that you can discover in the test phase on the two videos below, marshal_banana tackled the structure of the vehicle, respecting as much as possible the original model designed by ILM for the film (visual below).

They have just appeared on eBay at a seller located in Hong Kong.
We can afford (Without the bag apparently):

- Pack of 4 minifigures including 1 x Kimono girl1 x soccer player1 x Werewolf and 1 x The Monster.

- Pack of 4 minifigures including 2 x Punk rocker and 2 x Musketeer.

- Pack of 4 minifigures including 2 x surfer girl and 2 x Lawn Gnome.

For its part, Peek and Poke announced the availability of boxes of 60 minifigs for early April 2011 via the brand's forum. 

Various forums speak of a release scheduled for April 15, 2011. Unlike previous series, we will probably not see early availability, LEGO has undoubtedly learned the lesson of previous releases to say the least chaotic ....

I told you in a previous news the release of the mini set 30054: AT-ST and I mentioned the similarities between this set and the one released in 2003 under the reference 4486-1: AT-ST & Snowspeeder.

Here is a close-up photo comparing these two AT-STs on which we can better visualize the relationship between these two minis.

Besides the difference in colors of the parts used and the absence of serigraphy on the set 30054, we will note some differences on the parts used at the level of the legs of the machine.
