A quick wink for a new book that deserves your attention. 3 guys embarked on a rather interesting mission: Find each place located in the USA that was used for the filming of one of the episodes of the Star Wars saga ... I had followed the launch of their project on Kickstarter and on facebook and I must say that I am already impatient to see the result.
Okay, the places listed are all located in the United States, but I still want to discover all these sometimes surprising environments that were used by Lucas.
If you want to know more about this project which started on Kickstarter and which came to fruition thanks to the financial support of Internet users, go to the dedicated blog or the facebook page.
The book is available for pre-order on Amazon.fr at the correct price of 23.29 €: In a Galaxy Not So Far Away ... the Star Wars Filming Locations of the United States.
Small exercise of style sympathetic under LDD on behalf of Chronicler35 alias Nick which proposes a version delivered in the sauce 2012 of TIE Interceptor.
This machine has already been the subject of several adaptations by LEGO with the sets 7181 UCS TIE Interceptor (2000) et 6206 TIE Interceptor (2006), without forgetting the mimis versions of the setss 6965 TIE Interceptor (Kabaya edition with the candy in 2004) and most recently with the Planet Series set 9676 TIE Interceptor & Death Star.
On this MOC under LDD, Chronicler35 takes all the attributes of the Tie Fighter from the set 9492 like the fairing of the wings rather well adapted and retains the original cockpit. If LEGO were to bring the TIE Interceptor back into the range System, it could probably look like this MOC.
Other views are available in Chronicler35's flickr gallery.
We are no exception to the rule at LEGO and Batman (853429), Superman (853430) and Wonder Woman (853433) are entitled to their keyring. We are far from the minifig not-so-exclusive Comic Con for Superman, which was distributed in an affordable set (6862 Superman vs. Power Armor Lex) and now as a keychain ...
I wonder in what sauce we will find the other two minifigs of Comic Con in San Diego: Batman et Green Lantern...
Great performance from the ParanickFilmz team with this Brickfilm reproducing to perfection, scene by scene, the trailer for the next opus of the Batman trilogy by Christopher Nolan. Take a few minutes to feast on this great work in stop-motion.

It's a little dead calm at the moment when it comes to the new LEGO Lord of the Rings range and time has to be spent .... infomaniac does it in a beautiful way with this beautiful MOC reproducing to perfection the moving scene from The Return of the King in which Frodo and his friends leave the port of Gray Havens.
The reconstruction is perfect, even in perspective. I put you below a capture of the scene of the film, you can compare everything there ...
Remember to go to the flickr gallery infomaniac, it promises some views of this MOC in behind the scenes very soon ... He should then unveil the staging as a whole and the techniques he used to reproduce the perspective.
