On the program, detailed information on the announced competition which offers you to make a stop-motion video, a photo or even a drawing representing a character from the DC Universe license.
Each participant can use LEGO Super Heroes minifigs (Who has any so far?) Or any other minifig representing a super hero (implying a custom minifig).
Contest entries will be judged on their originality and creativity each month until December 2011.
Trips to Warner Bros Studios and LEGOLAND Park in California as well as full line packs 2012 LEGO Super Heroes: DC Universe collection are up for grabs.
The winners (2 each month) will be offered a limited edition hand-painted porcelain model as well as the full range pack 2012 LEGO Super Heroes: DC Universe collection.
The second (2 each month) will be offered the complete pack mentioned above.
The third (3 each month) will receive the DC Universe Batcave set, the LEGO Batman game on the platform of their choice and a Batman t-shirt.
The launch of the site also gives us the opportunity to discover in detail the minifigs already announced: Batman, Superman and Green Lantern.
Barely announced the partnership between LEGO and Warner Bros on the DC Comics license, now the site stitchkingdom.com confirms that LEGO and Disney have agreed to the Marvel license for 2012.
This agreement covers several successive years of partnership.
As of January 1, 2012, LEGO will be able to distribute sets and minifigs bearing the effigy of SpiderMan, Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Magneto, Nick Fury, Thor or Black Widow and many other characters such as Doctor Octopus or the X-Men ...
The first minifigs that will be shown exclusively at the San Diego Comic Con currently being held will be Captain America, Hulk and Iron Man.
The LEGO Super Heroes range will be launched in 2012 simultaneously with the release of The Avengers movie bringing together the most iconic heroes of the Marvel license.
We discover a new version of Batman ("Nolan Style"named after the director of the films Batman Begins, The Dark Knight & The Dark Knight Rises, scheduled for 2012), a likeable Green Lantern and a rather successful Superman.
Without a doubt, the sets that will be released next year will be largely inspired by Christopher Nolan's films, and we should be able to enjoy a new Joker, a Double-Face and a few other iconic characters from the Next Generation Batman Trilogy.
LEGO will thus be able to access the DC license and launch in 2012 a complete range based on the DC Universe, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Joker, Bane, Harley Quinn and Lex Luthor.
The first copies of these minifigs will be showcased at the current San Diego Comic Con, and a video, photo and illustration competition will win one of 3000 exclusive Batman and Green Lantern minifigs up for grabs. until December 2011.
Warner Bros. and LEGO have worked together in the past around the Batman franchise, notably with the video game "Lego Batman: The Videogame" which has sold more than 12 million copies since 2008.
We will therefore have to follow very closely the Comic Con to obtain more information about this new range for which I am openly interested.
I could maybe even create a second dedicated blog .... In the meantime, bookmark this page Lego super heroes, there should be a lot of things happening there soon ....
