This is not a recent MOC, but as the Executor or Super Star Destroyer is currently in the spotlight, it was necessary to present to you this achievement of Robo man dating from 2009 .....

We will note the level of detail for a MOC on this scale and we will appreciate the overall finish of this MOC which even inherited an extremely well made underside.

It is on the occasion of the Star Wars Event of June 2011 at the park LEGOLAND located in Germany that the team of "The Dutch Moonbase"proposed a series of MOCs and dioramas, each more incredible than the next ....

Among other things, we find a giant diorama (7 mx 1.80 m) by Tatooine, the result of 4 months of work, in which various key scenes from the Star Wars saga are represented. Equally impressive, the reconstitution of the scene of the "Trench Run" which measures 6 mx 1.20 m and which will have taken 3 months of its time to its designer.

Lord Of The Fries offers on its flickr gallery some close-up views of the minfiigs of the upcoming set 7879 Hoth Echo Base.

We finally discover the few novelties of this set, with the medical droid 2-1B which seems rather successful, the R-3PO red which we would have gone well without and which has no other merit than its color, or the minifigure of Luke who will be undressed in the Bacta Tank.

It is besides this minifigure which will make the interest of the set, because the context of its presence is not likely to reproduce in another set and it should become scarce as quickly as its price will explode.
Especially since, being a playset, we owe it to ourselves to have a thought for all these children who will lose this minifigure, helping to create its rarity on the second-hand market.

Finally, we will note the new hairstyle of Leia Organa, faithful to that of Carrie Fischer in the scenes of the Battle of Hoth, and the minifigure of Han Solo with its very successful hood.
