What if a protocol droid distant cousin of C-3PO had been programmed to become a bounty hunter? He would then have hunted his prey aboard his own landspeeder.

This is the background of this very original MOC proposed by kost u grlu as part of the competition "Character Rides Contest"organized by Eurobricks and which has just been awarded first place in its category.

Usually, I'm not really a fan of LDD creations [Lego digital designer], even if I do not question the creativity of certain virtual OMCs.

Graaf Pieter alias Hollander offers a truly successful virtual version of the Y-Wing. Composed of more than 1500 parts, the machine is very detailed and Hollander admits spending nearly 12 hours there.
Either way, here's a great example of using LEGO 3D modeling software that you can take inspiration from if you feel like it. Personally, I have never managed to produce much under LDD ....

To see more about this Y-Wing, visit Hollander's MOCPages or this topic at Eurobricks.

This Gungan Sub MOC isn't very young, but we don't see it that often either, so I'll post it here for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

The only interpretation by LEGO of this underwater vehicle dates from 1999 with the set 7161 Gungan Sub. This set, well in the spirit of the System range of the beginnings of the Star Wars license at LEGO, however deserves a reissue with the new parts released from LEGO.

The MOC presented here, if it is not perfect, at least has the merit of showing us what a new version of this machine could look like if LEGO decided to bring it out one day ....

Another achievement that ACPin has the secret with this diorama inspired by the scene of Episode V [The Empire Strikes Back] where Luke is sent to Dagobah by Obi-Wan Kenobi (or rather his ghost) in search of Yoda who must train him to become a Jedi.

Luke arrives on Dagobah with R2-D2 and sets up his base camp. He then senses the presence of a creature hidden around, in this case Yoda.

Once again, ACPin offers a high-level diorama that is teeming with detail and whose ambience perfectly reproduces that of the marshes of the planet Dagobah seen in the film.
