Thankfully, this set can be found for just over twenty euros outside of LEGO stores; the price is so disappointing that I'm not even sure this product is worth two ten-euro notes.

The result is catastrophic for a product that highlights Frozen: out of 24 boxes, we get three micro-dolls that look like they came straight out of a Kinder egg with Elsa, Anna and Kristoff, a figurine of Olaf, Sven, two kittens, a baby penguin and that's it.

The rest of the calendar is filled with appallingly underwhelming boxes, some containing only four candles, a tree with a crescent moon and a kitten, or two musical instruments. It's simply shameful at this price, and even if the product is aimed at younger fans of the franchise, a little more respect would be appreciated.

Once the set's contents are unpacked, there's more cardboard and bags than actual play pieces, and you inevitably feel cheated when you realize that this large, attractively designed box doesn't offer much of substance. Worse still, some of the included micro-builds are barely recognizable.

The excuse that these calendars can be found cheaper than LEGO every year very quickly after their launch doesn't really hold water here because we're starting from way too far off: if this one were sold for €19,99 instead of €34,99, the potential drop would be proportional and we could be more lenient, but with such a high starting price, it's difficult to hope to get it below twenty euros without massive clearance sales.

The Star Wars version of the set 75418 Advent Calendar 2025 It offers about thirty more pieces for the same price and, more importantly, allows you to build something other than gifts, tables, and miniature Christmas trees, even if it doesn't completely eliminate unnecessary or superfluous assemblies. LEGO has today released a teaser announcing a new LEGO ICONS The Legend of Zelda set for 2026 with a short scene in which there is no doubt that Link is preparing to face the demon Ganon.

This original approach will probably not be unanimously accepted by fans used to discovering a new machine or spaceship behind each of the boxes, but you can't fault LEGO for trying to make this year's calendar a product whose contents will be easily reusable after unboxing.

This droid theme also allows LEGO to avoid providing us with too many "real" minifigures. What we can consider classic minifigures if we include microfigures and the inevitable Battle Droids: C-3PO, R7-A7, BB-8, a Battle Droid, a Super Battle Droid, a Jawa, BD-72, and Babu Frik.

The remaining eight droid models are assembled using a few parts, and not all of them are of the highest quality. The lineup includes a Pit Droid, a Gonk Droid, a Buzz Droid, a Medical Droid, a B2EMO (Bee-two), a WED Treadwell Repair Droid, a Mouse Droid, and a Probe Droid.

I won't dwell on the micro-builds that vaguely represent Babu Frik's workshop with several modules that connect together. The idea isn't actually that bad, but it still feels a bit like filling space for miles, which risks causing some disappointment on certain days during the daily opening phase of the product.
