LEGO Super Mario World Mario and Yoshi - Nintendo Collector's Set - Creative Leisure for Adults Passionate about Video Games - Original Gift for Men and Women
Today we'll take a quick look at the contents of the LEGO promotional set. 5009823 Fish Tank Filter & Fish Food, a small box of 177 pieces which will be offered to members of the LEGO Insiders program on the official online store from November 13 to 19, 2025 for the purchase of the LEGO ICONS set 10366 Tropical Aquarium (449,99 €).
As you probably already know if you've been following along, the contents of this little set are meant to "enhance" the aquarium by adding a filter to be installed outside the structure, inside which you'll find a fish that seems to have wandered in. The whole thing comes with a small box of fish food. It's hard to criticize the product's design; it does indeed resemble some aquarium filter models, and the construction isn't out of place.
Even better, the model is designed to sit on the frame of the €450 faux aquarium, thus reinforcing the lifestyle "illusion" so touted by influencers of all stripes by perfecting the object's look. Why not, even if it seems obvious that LEGO has once again extracted content from the main set to artificially create a promotional product intended to entice hesitant customers at launch.
However, I don't think that if the filter had been supplied with the aquarium from the start, it would have changed much in terms of perception: the aquarium is too expensive in any case, and I personally find it totally outdated and a failure in some respects, with or without a filter.
The lifestyle approach is, in my opinion, superfluous here, and a simple aquatic diorama without all the trappings of the frame and filter around it would have been far more convincing, in addition to being a reproduction of animals in their natural element and not in the living room of John and Brenda, who are only too happy not to have to feed or watch these plastic fish die.
For those worried about the appearance of a fish that ended up in the filter and is therefore doomed to float on its back in the bowl, rest assured that you can remove it from the structure and place it directly in the aquarium. Phew, problem solved! The small box of fish food is rather pointless; its only redeeming feature is the printed design on the front of the packaging. You can still play at feeding your plastic fish, but don't overdo it.
In short, if you've already fallen for the aquarium and are eagerly awaiting November 13th, this filter will undoubtedly seem essential, and you'll happily spend your €450 at LEGO to get the "complete" set. Otherwise, you can save your money and spend it on another set without regretting not having gotten this 177-piece filter.
You'll also have the satisfaction of having avoided that somewhat underhanded tactic of offering DLC separately for a limited time, forcing you to buy it at full price. That is, until the tactic is applied to a product you actually want, which will inevitably happen one day.
Note: The product shown here, provided by LEGO, is as usual involved. Deadline fixed at November 19, 2025 at 23:59 p.m. Simply post a comment below the article to participate.
Today we'll briefly revisit the contents of the LEGO Disney set. 40774 Classic Animation Scenes, a box of 270 pieces currently offered and at best until November 11, 2025 on the official online store from €130 purchase without range restriction.
Almost everything has already been said about this promotional product, initially offered by Disney on its official online store before being offered by LEGO. The principle is simple: you assemble a slightly vintage, cartoon-style television and three inserts that slide one after the other into the space provided for this purpose.
The idea is brilliant, the execution is perfect, I don't see much to criticize about this little product which could easily have been sold for around twenty euros and found its audience.
Assembling the product takes only a few minutes but is still entertaining. You stick on four stickers, whose background color unfortunately doesn't perfectly match the color of the pieces they're applied to, and that's it. The three micro-builds are well-executed, and the theme is immediately recognizable despite the limited inventory. As a bonus, you get two figurines, which are unfortunately not new: Woody and Simba.
The Woody minifigure reuses a torso, head, and hat available from LEGO since 2019, and unfortunately omits the legs and boots, which have already been included in a handful of sets. The Simba minifigure is the one included in the LEGO IDEAS set since 2024. 21352 Magic of Disney.
If you have the opportunity to place an order on the official LEGO online store, I think the effort of reaching the minimum order amount of €130 is well worth it. You end up with a very nice product that would make a great gift for a Disney fan during the holiday season. Without going into too much detail, I think it's one of the best, if not the best, promotional products LEGO has created this year.
If you are also good with your ten fingers, the possibilities for expansion are numerous: simply reuse the format of the inserts provided to create other scenes inspired by Disney films and associate them with your favorite minifigs.
Note: The product shown here, provided by LEGO, is as usual involved. Deadline fixed at November 18, 2025 at 23:59 p.m. Simply post a comment below the article to participate.
For those interested, LEGO is doubling Insider points on the LEGO IDEAS set. 21359 Italian Riviera from today until November 3, 2025.
To put it simply, if you buy this large box of 3251 pieces, which retails for €279,99, you'll earn 4200 points during the promotion instead of the usual 2100 points. These 4200 points will give you a discount of €28 instead of the usual €14 on a future order.
It's always a good thing if you don't want to wait for this box, currently exclusive to the official online store, to be available for much less elsewhere than at LEGO.
Note that this offer can be combined with those currently allowing you to obtain two promotional products: the LEGO Disney set 40774 Classic Animation Scenes offered from 130 € of purchase without restriction of range as well as the LEGO set 40712 Micro Rocket Launchpad offered from 200 € of purchase without restriction of range.
Remember to recover a unique code at this address before placing your order on the Shop to take advantage of this second promotional product offered.
The team in charge of selecting LEGO IDEAS projects that become official LEGO products has released a teaser today that promises the biggest announcement ever made as part of this program.
It's hard to know how this record will translate, but we can bet on the announcement of a very large handful of definitively validated ideas. Six members of the team are present in the teaser, we can imagine that each of them will unveil a product.
See you on Thursday, October 30 for the announcement.

Let's go for a new promotional offer which allows you to obtain a copy of the LEGO Disney set from today and at best until November 11, 2025 40774 Classic Animation Scenes from 130 € of purchase without restriction of range.
This small 270-piece box contains enough to assemble a vintage television and three interchangeable inserts, including one with the iconic Disney logo and two that pay homage to Toy Story and The Lion King respectively. Bonus features include a Woody minifigure and a Simba figurine.
Please note that this new offer can be combined with the one that currently allows you to obtain a copy of the LEGO set. 40712 Micro Rocket Launchpad from €200 of purchase without restriction of range. Remember to collect a unique code at this address before placing your order on the Shop.
We continue today with the putting into play of a copy of the LEGO Star Wars set 75434K-2SO, a box of 845 pieces currently available on the official online store at the public price of €89,99.
To validate your participation, as always, simply identify yourself via the interface below and follow the instructions provided. As usual, it is a question of finding information on the official online store and then answering the question correctly. At the end of the participation phase, the winner will be chosen by lot from the correct answers. Participation is free and without obligation to purchase.
Your details (name/pseudo, email address, IP address, postal address and phone number of the winner) are only used in the context of this competition and will not be kept beyond the draw which will designate the winner. As usual, this competition without obligation to purchase is open to all residents of metropolitan France, DOM & TOM, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland.
The prize worth €89,99 at stake is generously provided by LEGO, it will be sent to the winner by me upon confirmation of their contact details by return email.
As always, I reserve the right to disqualify any entrant who has attempted to defraud or hijack the entry system in order to increase their chances of winning. Grumpers and bad losers abstain, the others will have a better chance of winning.
For information: the name / nickname of the winner is displayed in the participation interface once the draw has been made. I also notify the winners by email, but remember to check anyway.
Two clarifications: all the products involved are physically in my possession and are shipped by me, no risk of having to wait weeks for the brand to send the batch. The products are shipped very quickly to the winners, those who have received their prize in the past can attest to this.
No participation via comments.
It's official, the new LEGO Store installed in the aisles of the Westfield Les 4 Temps shopping center in La Défense (92) will open its doors on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. This new official store will replace the Etam and Miniso stores located on the first level of the center and will cover more than 230 square meters.
I won't repeat the pitch for this type of LEGO store; you'll find the usual services like the "Choose and Build" brick wall, or the "Build a Minifigure" tower alongside the usual product offerings and associated promotional offers.
If you plan to visit this new store as soon as it opens to take advantage of the offers, don't push or trample on children.
This new LEGO Store will be the 10th store directly managed by LEGO in France. There are currently 16 LEGO Certified Stores located in France; these franchised stores are managed by the Percassi company.
In 2023, LEGO began expanding its factory in Nyíregyháza, Hungary, and promised completion by 2025. It kept its promise, and to celebrate properly, the manufacturer is offering a 531-piece set that allows you to reproduce the new facility. This new box, offered to the group's employees working on site, can also be considered an update to the set. 4000011 Nyíregyháza Factory (2014)
This product is already on sale on all marketplaces, for example it is currently available around €230 including shipping on eBay with shipping from Hungary.
If you're collecting these sets, which reproduce the LEGO Group's various industrial structures, you'll have plenty to choose from with the following references, which are, as usual, available on the usual marketplaces. However, you'll need a substantial budget to afford these limited-edition products:
